The Hereford fat face store is really, the girls that work in their are so friendly and nice I didn’t feel like they were judging me compared to other clothes stores.

Bought 2 items on click and collect. Returned 1 item to store. Instead of refunding cashier charged me again (over £80). Didn’t notice till I saw my bank account after the weekend. Had to make another trip to store to get a refund of over £160. Could have plummeted me into an overdraft? She was apologetic. But that’s not the point.

Is Fat Face harvesting personal data?
Not the most relaxing of shopping experiences when visiting the Hereford branch of Fat Face.Went to pay at the cash desk and before the transaction was asked for my email address - this request came across as almost mandatory. I declined and the assistant seemed to take this personally- very brusque unsmiling manner thereafter- assistant couldn`t even summon an audible thank you when handing over my receipt.
Is Fat face harvesting customer emails ? Are employees paid for the number of emails gathered?
I am not usually asked to give away my personal contact details when buying in a shop and resent being harassed for an email address. There is no benefit to me and I am aware that third parties may use the data.
So I shall be returning what I bought later this week – to a different branch -don’t want to wear the clothing and be reminded of the unwelcoming experience that day in Hereford or of the Fat Face policy of requesting personal data.

Our store crew are asked to obtain customers email addresses when a purchase is being made for e-receipts only, you of course have every right to decline and obtain a paper receipt instead.

I had my order delivered to my local fat face store for the first time, after travelling 7miles to said store I was very disappointed to learn my order had been delivered to the wrong store. This was May 14th and I still have not had an E mail to say it’s at my local store. Not happy at all, must say everything I have delivered to my home has been an excellent service.
