Rude abrupt and condescending
The manager at the Trafford Centre store is so rude, I tried to deliver to the store today, after some of miscommunication, on both our parts, she had the nerve to call me rude and tell me how I should should alter my tone, while trying ask her some direction, as an owner of my own business her attitude towards me was condescending and misjudged and by calling a person rude does not make it a true statement, I’m also a potential customer aswell as delivery person.

Faye - superb customer service
Faye at FatFace Trafford gave us superb customer service.
She was really chatty and knowledgeable about the clothes we tried on and encouraged us to check the care labels and how drying things on hangers ensured the fit and longevity of our our items which is really helpful to know.
She was a breath of fresh air (in comparison to a lot of people working in retail) and everything you want a sales assistant to be. Thanks Faye.

Although I am a loyal fatface customer unfortunately I didn’t like the items I had ordered and returned them which is unusual.

Really friendly people
Really friendly people, the girl serving me actually tried to make conversation. Plus I really love the clothes this season!!! In the past a size 10 has been either too big or too small but this time they fit much better. Only disappointed the teal dress with white embroidery became out of stock so quickly.

Not a great experience
Not a great experience. Bought my wife a coat at Trafford Centre store.On arrival home found security tag still on. Seemed to want me to do 44 mile round trip to return. Agreed to post me replacement. 5 days later not arrived. Further contact and another despatched. This one arrived a week after original purchase but too late for my wife's day out.
Now have hassle of returning the original with tag.
Offered discount to return to store but nothing for the hassle to get replacement sorted.
Got there in the end. Communication via Twitter. First time I have bought from Fat Face personally. I know these things happen but not the greatest advertisement for service.

online returns
I ordered online, paid on Klarna and returned unwanted items to the Trafford shop. The shop assistant accepted my returned items, then recharged me for them on my credit card - thus so far I have paid twice for items I have returned! I’m still waiting for this to be resolved, yet get daily reminders to review my experience. Not good enough, FatFace!!

Unfortunate misunderstanding
The clothes are beautiful but I ordered a size too large. Unfortunately the order took a while to arrive so I didn’t have time to return or reorder the correct size before my holiday. I phoned Fatface in Trafford who told me I could easily exchange in store so I trekked all the way there only to find they don’t stock the larger sizes. So I’ve been wearing unflatteringly large clothes. But they are excellent quality.
