Fenix Funerals were a great support during a very difficult time. Liz was especially helpful—always responsive, kind, and incredibly organised. She guided us through every step of the process and made sure everything went smoothly.
Thanks to her help, we were able to keep to our timeline and return to Ireland with my mum’s ashes for burial without any stress. We’re very grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fenix.

Arrangement service seemed in the main professional. Reasonable communications throughout until right near the end when it needs to be at its very best. Body moved a very long way away - I should have asked where at the very start but this was all new to me. Funeral Conductor only called me at 6:30pm on the night before my Dad's funeral when too late to make suitable adjustments. Due to tube strikes arrived at the departure point some 45 mins after the appointed time. Funeral ran over 1/2 hour late. Very fortunate no funeral booked directly afterwards. But mourners all sat waiting. There was a tube strike but everyone knew that and allowed more time. Fenix had one chance to get this right. Messed up. Time keeping very important to our family - we never run late. Compliant upheld and a donation made in my Dad's name. But very very disappointing. I let him and my family down by picking Fenix. I gave two stars as when they arrived, the service was as planned. Staff professional. Booked kept me posted thoughout. Think organisation too remote and corporate. I will look for a local provider should I sadly have to do again.

We as a family will forever be grateful for having Therese (T) to guide and support us in such a difficult time. We lost our dad and T was a tower of strength in our time of need. Always dignified in all she done for us, understanding of our needs and always had the best listening ear. T has an amazing way with words that were beautifully written & said. Her soft calm approach will always stay with us. T went above and beyond, nothing was never to much for her. Her empathy, loving ways and kindness, shines so bright. Honestly such an amazing young lady who takes her job seriously. It’s not just a job to her, it’s something that she truly loves doing and you can see this. Nothing means more to her than giving someone that ment so much to us the best send off for their final journey. We as a family will forever be thankful we had Therese by our side to give our dad his final journey in life. Thank you Therese

We would like to sincerely thank Fenix Funerals for the wonderful service they provided for our Mum. From the very beginning, Maria, our Funeral Arranger, guided us with care, compassion, and attention to detail, making a very difficult time feel that much lighter. Shirley, our Celebrant, delivered a beautiful service that truly captured Mum’s spirit and gave us all comfort in remembering her so fondly.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the pallbearers, whose professionalism and conduct were outstanding. They carried out their role with dignity and respect, which meant a great deal to our family.

Thank you once again to the whole team at Fenix for ensuring Mum’s farewell was handled with such thoughtfulness and grace.

My experience from start to finish could not have been any easier in such a heartbreaking and sad circumstance. I was truly taken care of by the lovely lady named terese. I now feel this lady is part of my family, I was made to feel like a member of my own family was taking care of my loved one, just as I would. Such respectful company with the right attitude and approach for anyone having to deal with such a grief. They truly take care of your heart/feelings and emotions from start to finish. would highly recommend company to use.

This was the 2nd time my family has chosen to use Fenix Funerals in respect of direct cremation. As sad and difficult as arranging a funeral can be, dealing with Therese (T) from Fenix Funerals following the death of a family member, she has been supportive, empathic and a great communicator and made the process easy. Always prompt with telephone calls and/or e-mails. The service provided has been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Fenix Funerals should I be asked who I have used for funerals.

From the first call with Liz, she put me and my family at ease during a difficult time and guided us through every element of the ceremony for my Mum's funeral. No ask was too big, and she managed to source the specific flowers we wanted as well as helped us put together a beautiful order of service. We received so many comments from all attendees that everything was prefectly organised which wouldn't have been possible without Liz's professional help who was always available even on weekends

Fenix was very under standing so helpful ,keeping family up dated what was happening Fiona was so kind and helpful .

The ceremony was full of love, music, connection, and joy — exactly what our mum would have wanted. T held space for everyone so naturally, with a grace that touched every single person there. We even had the lead cemetery manager approach us to say he’d never experienced a service like ours before — joyful, moving, and deeply human. That was down to T and the atmosphere she created.

T made the unbearable bearable. Her care didn’t end when the service did. She checked in, offered space for reflection, and left us feeling truly seen and supported. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone more suited to help us through this time.

They are very helpful staff and excellent service

I used Fenix funerals after my brother passed away. Maria was our funeral arranger she was really helpful in all areas of the funeral and helped me greatly in my time of need. She even called after few days after the funeral to check in with me and offer some comforting advice.

They were attentative to the family needs and requirements as their service included repatriation

We had often used a local funeral director but it closed down so looked online for a replacement. Fenix staff were understanding and helpful and all requirements for the funeral were met
