dangerous ingredients

I can't comment on the customer service because my order experience was straight forward. I ordered my stuff, it arrived, everything was correct. Which is why I am taken aback by the brand's poor rating in that regard but it does not have a feature to review on the website so came here to leave my review and warn others.

Initially I was happy with this brand's products. Made my skin soft and smells good without being overwhelming like a lot of skincare/hygiene products have been in recent years. I have the whipped body butter, fat water toner and body soap. However, as much parading the brand does about being natural and healthy and whatever, each one has an incredibly harmful chemical/chemical combination in what I purchased. The skin toner has Red 33, benzoic acid and citric acid. All synthetic dyes are carcinogenic and dangerous and banned in other countries and benzoic acid is not a problem by itself but with citric acid creates benzene which is a carcinogen. The soaps have polysorbate 60 which can cause detrimental reproductive effects, organ toxicity and is overall dangerous with repeated exposure. Coumarin is in the body soap and it's recommended to reduce exposure to it (skin or ingested) due to toxicity.

If you buy anything from this brand look at the ingredients and do research. Based on my experience, I haven't found one that doesn't have a dangerous chemical/chemical combination in it.

Order received 1 month later

I placed an order on 27 November and I was hoping that my package would arrive before Christmas as I was about to leave the country on 25 December, but the package actually arrived on 28 January, one month later, which is totally unacceptable. Very disappointed!

NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND.

After purchased a couple of products from Fenty, they sent a notification that one of the products is out of stock, and that refund will be made. However, I’ve never received those refund so I’ve contacted their customer service, which they said it has been automatically refund, and the money was not charged, however that was not the case which I’ve tried to explain to them many times. In the end after contacting them back and forth, they send me the refund notification on 21/12/22 and since then I have not yet received my money back.

So far: Overwhelmingly bad. Ordered way before X-mas on December 13. No clue what is happening - order has not moved since December 17 and is apparently still in the US? Not used to a situation where 1) I have paid for a product that 2) never arrived. What is going on, Fenty?

'disappearing order'

I made an order on the 13th December, tracking stopped around 15th..left it a few days then on the 26th December i spoke to customer service who immediately just says 'its hasn't moved' and issued me a refund which im not mad about. Im just annoyed as it waa supposed to be a gift and now i have to try find an alternative at short notice. Definitely dont order from this website cos you will never recieve it.

My daughter ordered for a present for her sisters Birthday. Surprise surprise it never came. She contacted them by email and their response was sorry it got lost. They have promised that they will refund her, however not the full amount and also excluding the delivery charge.

Really bad customer service from start…

Really bad customer service from start to finish my item took a very long tint to arrive I emailed for an update and got no response. When I did arrive there was an item missing. I spoke to customer service on live chat for a replacement as I couldn’t get the item in the UK and the black Friday deal was only on for a few days plus I had paid for the shipping I really needed to have a replacement sent but without asking they refunded me when I questioned this they just said it was there policy and then ended the chat. Emailed them and they just repeated it was policy - shame

I am the same as most on here have…

I am the same as most on here have experienced- I ordered my items on 26/11/22 and I checked it and all it said was awaiting collection from courier ( for over two weeks) now I have checked over the last two days and it states shipped but oh look no delivery info - it’s not available. So it definitely won’t be here for Christmas and I’m with no goods and they have had my money for over three weeks - disgusting oh update - I received a parcel from Fenty today with the completely wrong products in it - you couldn’t make this up

save urself the stress and order through boots or any other UK based company that carries fenty.

At this point I don’t even care what I ordered or the quality of it… UK order PLACED ON 29/11… it is 13/12 and still no sight of my package. It’s 2022, worldwide shipping for such a brand shouldn’t take this long idc. Worst than that, no way to chase this delivery up, customer service unresponsive/unreachable …there are Royal Mail delays during the season, and now snow delays….I honestly have no clue when this package will come…and the “tracking” portal is so garbage it’s no help at all…..,as a fellow reviewer stated, save urself the stress and order through boots or any other UK based company that carries fenty.

Awful costumer service and company

Order on 23/11. Sending tracking information on the 29/11. The last update was on 30/11. Contact via form and email several times and didnt receive any answer. Impossible in the chat. Today finally con contact costumer service by chat. Asked for a refund as the product were a christmas present and they are not gonna be on time (I think they didn’t even shipped them). Still waiting for the email confirming that they are gonna refund.

Messed up my order. Bad customer service

Got given a wrong order. By chance two items matched mine. They charged me for those and gave a full refund without offering me the choice of redelivery (because it was to the U.K.)
So they basically didn’t want to give me the products I wanted at the discounted Black Friday prices.
Don’t buy directly from their website buy the products from boots or Sephora where customer services actually care.

Order takes forever to be processed

Order takes forever to be processed. I made a purchase on November 25 2022, today at Dec 3 2022 it still hasn't even been processed. There is absolutely no way to talk to anyone through the website. The only thing you can do is check where your order is and read FAQs. They make it so difficult to contact custome service and if you were able to reach them theyre completely useless.

This is exhausting

This is exhausting. If it doesn't affect you, you can't care mentality is not good enough anymore. Especially for companies/manufacturers and product chain transparency. And frankly, it affects everyone. They just don't see it yet. I am truly disgusted with the state of companies that refuse to be helpful or allow for transparency about their food lines. Anaphylaxis is not taken seriously enough in the west. If your products come in contact with, share equipment with (with no testing), supplier chain uncertainty... requires a "May Contain" label. At some point, someone has to do something about the life-threatening circumstances irresponsible, unhelpful companies such as this are putting people in. Ideally, the west would hold our food/makeup/brands that carry allergens institutions to a higher qualitative standard so everyone feels safe when eating, wearing makeup or even hugging a loved one who is wearing makeup, using a perfume product etc... The amount of background checking a person/parent/spouse has to do to ensure someone doesn't die is abhorrent. Your customer service is a failure.

I commend the companies with 3000+ items that they trace and track and make available information that saves lives. Everyone else is government standard amoral filth.

Disgusting customer service! Will never order from here again!

It was my first time ordering from Fenty Beauty UK and it will definitely be my last!! The order was left outside my house with £50 worth of makeup inside, which of course was stolen! After sending back my declaration on the 20th October i haven’t heard anything back despite sending several emails! Absolutely disgusting customer service from what is meant to be a major brand! So disappointed and out of pocket by £50!!

No refund issued for stolen items

I ordered something that was left in my lobby by delivery driver and stolen before I could get my hands on it. Box torn open, papers scattered on the floor and the two products taken. They did not issue a refund even though it was no fault of mine. I lost £40.

After reading all the negative reviews…

After reading all the negative reviews I was hesitant to order. But took the plunge as there were gift sets reduced from £30 down to £11. Honestly, had a very good experience! I ordered on Oct 12th and my items arrived 10 days later!
The tracking details allowed me to know the exact whereabouts of my parcel at all times. I will DEFINITELY order from Fenty again! :)
