The data was very good, it was my learning style that was impinged a bit due to the content of this training versus what I was told it was about. The data was conflicting with what I thought I was going to learn.

The self paced training worked well for my schedule as I have a regular 9 to 5 job. The layout of the course material engaged all my different learning styles - videos, reading and activities. Also the quizzes at the end of each section were great for reinforcing concepts. The surveys at different points of the course (50%, 75%) encouraged me to proceed

NFEC Financial education instructor certification
I just completed the Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) course from National Financial Educators Council (NFEC). I am a former Cisco Systems and Microsoft curriculum developer and a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor and Microsoft Certified Trainer. With over 30 years of teaching experience, I must say that this course is one of the most comprehensive I have taken. It provides coverage not only of core personal finance topics, but also current pedagogy and proven educational methods. NFEC has developed a wealth of effective tools and resources for use by instructors implementing personal finance education programs. I was impressed with the variety and quality of instructional materials including customizable student handouts as well as the turnkey financial education packages and ongoing resources and support for certified instructors. I would recommend this program for anyone wishing to teach personal finance.

A Great Learning Experience!
I have found the Financial Educator course content immensely educative due to its thorough and professional, yet easy to assimilate content. The accompanying research and reading resources have enabled me to delve deeper in my passion for personal finance education. Commendation to the support team for being responsive which has enhanced my user experience. Two months down the line, I feel quite confident to embark on designing programs that will be of positive impact in my community.
My recommendation (as an international student) is that some of the Content Knowledge section e.g. Credit Profile be reviewed to encompass content that will be applicable to persons residing out of USA.
