First of all, I would like to thank the entire team at NFEC for making this curriculum extremely structured and effective. I found out about NFEC through the Professional Designations via FINRA. Making the program more valuable in my perspective. I have finally completed my certification and would consider myself a professional. I came in knowing a lot about personal finance, but NFEC will help you understand the finances of your clients, diagnose clients, set goals for clients, prioritize goals by importance, and help assign action steps for your clients and yourself. I came out knowing my entire finances from A-Z after diagnosing my own self and producing a financial report. Without a doubt, I am now following my goals in a very clear direction. Great Program!
Great information for developing a financial education program. They provide tons of resources to help teach the topics and track your success as an educator. As a working mom, I went with the self paced plan and unfortunately have not been able keep up with the suggested timeline for program completion, however, the information has been valuable and the investment has been worth it.

The course material was thorough and put together very well. However, it was frustrating not having the convenience to speak with a live person when challenges arose, especially with enrollment. Aside from that very minor detail the program was amazing and I recommend it to anyone with a passion to enhance their own financial literacy, while being a champion to teaching others.

Teaching the Teacher Effectively
As a Financial Advisor I wanted to reach out to more people and start educating them on Financial Literacy. I thought the most effective way to do this would be to create an On-line course. As I started to create the course, I stumbled on the Certification program at NFEC on obtaining your Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) credentials
I signed up immediately and was impressed from the very first Module. The further I got into the training course, I realized this was exactly what I needed to make my course more credible.

Changed my life
The National Financial Educators Council is truly a force when it comes to teaching people the important topic of personal finance. Nowadays, most individuals have very poor knowlege when it comes to managing money. Because they were never taught by their parents or schools how to manage their money properly, many people are swimming in debt and struggling to stay afloat. However, the NFEC is a beacon of light in a sea of debt. Personally, I had an extremely pleasent experince. Having taken both the personal finance course and the CFEI training, I can assure everyone that it's 100% worth it. As long as you're willing to apply the lessons taught, the important facts you will learn in these courses will change your life forever. Coming from someone who didn't even understand the value of a dollar, I have completely turned that around and am now on track to save and invest considerable amounts of money. In the personal finance course, I learned crucial topics such as how to save money, how to get out of/stay out of debt, how to buy a car, how to buy a house etc. In the CFEI training course, I learned how to design an effective and concice personal finance training/workshop that leaves a positive impact on people forever. Thanks to the NFEC, I'm now very confident with my finances and optimistic about the future. I owe it all to them.
