I ordered a photo of my boyfriend from…

I ordered a photo of my boyfriend from a race he completed and was going to gift the photo to him but after waiting a week to get the photo I open it up to see that his face was cropped out of the photo. This company is ridiculous. No customer service. No company number to personally speak to. Horrible company. Do not purchase photos from this company.

Thoroughly disappointing photos. Insulting customer service.

After completing my first Ironman I was really keen to get my photos from the event. When I looked at the low resolution previews on Finisherpix I wasn't too sure about paying the high price because so many of the pictures didn't actually feature me. Their website suggests looking through the lost and found and as I was keen, I actually spent a significant amount of time trawling through the pictures to find a few more.
After spending the time to find the extra photos I decided to bite the bullet and buy the lot, including the video. Instant regret.

On receiving the high resolution pictures I realised that a significant number were out of focus or over-exposed. They really are not professional level photographs.
When you remove the out of focus, the over exposed, the ones that I don't feature on, and then the bad ones (granted that last one is not necessarily Finisherpix's issue) I am left with about 4 semi decent pictures.
The video wasn't worth the extra money either. Yes I feature but the cameras were not particularly well placed along the course and one shot is pretty much just the rear-end of a marshal.

I emailed to express my disappointment explaining all of the above quite clearly. I was actually insulted by their response.
Their solution was for me to look through the lost and found pictures to find more that feature me - bearing in mind I explained in my first email I had already done this, I don't believe they actually read my initial email. They also suggested that I was complaining because other people featured on my photographs:
"Regarding the photos in your gallery which show other people than you. Those are athletes which crossed the timing mat together with you or at least very very close to you. This is one of the external factors which we can't influence. Nevertheless we can delete those photos out of your gallery manually if you forward us the picture Ids."

I actually found this insulting. My complaint was never that other people featured on my photographs - I'm not a moron, I was aware of the other athletes around me during the even and of course I knew they would feature on my pictures.

I emailed them again 3 more times (politely I'd like to add) with no response.

I would advise anybody taking part in an event being photographed by Finisherpix to ask family or friends to take pictures if they can instead. I actually feel conned.

Horrible photos

Horrible photos. Please don’t buy form this guys. If you order video it will take weeks to get it. I don’t understand why Rock’n’Roll offered the job to this company. Their customer service is a jock.

Iam not the one in many fotos

Iam not the one in many fotos, eventhoug if you want to buy one foto only you have to pay 18Euros. If you want to buy them all eventhoug (a random guy might be in the foto not you) you have to pay 50 euros. I have been in many other races like marathon fotos are much better and a lot cheaper!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. DO NOT buy their packages. Photos will likely be out of focus and their customer service solution is for you to "look through our Lost and Found of 10,000 photos for better shots". Are you kidding me?

Very expensive for low resolution images!

Very expensive photo's and you do not receive high resolution images when you purchase them for download. When compared to UK photographic companies that provide a like-for-like service at UK Triathlon events, you receive much better quality and sometimes the images are free.
