Poor customer service

Took my order and money knowing full well the item was no longer made. They did not contact me about this and after a week I had to chase the order up only to find out the above.Had to wait ages for the refund. Would not use them again.

They'll take your money then not deliver

Placed an order for 48 hour delivery nothing arrived, they had run out of stock!! No apology given so after a few weeks waiting got my refund which took 10 further days to arrive back. It was a great experience!!

Further update below 21st June 2023 after reading Fire Safety UK's response which is a load of nonsense putting this mildly, I have no choice but to share with you the whole email trail.

Order placed 21st March 2023, this is the confirmation email sent next day 22nd March 2023;

Dear Tanwir,
Thank you for using Fire Safety.UK.com, your order is now complete and has been passed to our warehouse for shipping, we do endeavor to get all orders completed before 2pm to be delivered on our next day delivery service.
If you have not received your order within 48hrs please email us at (email removed) or give us a call on (telephone removed)

As you can see from the above you confirmed shipment, no mention of stock issues!!
I chased 27th March as nothing arrived and no notification to say anything has been delayed, this is my email;
Hi, have not received this order which was placed 22nd March.
Can you please advise?

This is not acceptable nor is your response that includes no apology.
What kind of organisation are you? You advertise a product for sale I purchase that product then I have to chase you up. You should have informed me and you should have offered an apology or compensation for the breech of contract.

Unfortunately we have been promised these items on numerous occasions but the main supplier has failed to deliver on this promise, we have been in contact with them constantly and are saying be should have stock coming in shortly.
Regarding contacting you we are trying to get through to all customers that have placed orders for these products and is taking longer than we anticipated.
Your order will be kept on back order if you wish or we can refund you.

As you can see the review responder has not been given all the facts or that she thought she could smooth this over with false information making me out to be the one in the wrong! My money then took another 10 days to refund!

I can only apologise for the experience you have had with the company, however.
Unfortunately we do not promise customers a specific date. As it stands we are advising customers ordering before our cut time , which is 2pm, we aim for 2-3 working days.

As to the communication with my colleague ,we informed you our main supplier has failed to supply us with the goods and was also made you aware it was taking longer than anticipated to contact customers this inconvenience, an apology was also given. You were also offered a refund to which you responded:

Usually 10 working days is adequate time for a refund, as this can all be due to which bank you're with and their processes.

Mixed experience

Website was easy to navigate and order, the dservice good, and the product a good price.
However, when I unpacked both items from their packaging, both plastic wall brackets were smashed into several pieces - could not be used. I am in the porocess of sourcing an alternatrive way to fix the extinguishers to the wall.
No critricism of the company, except that poor handling by carriers is to blame. Would use the company again.

2nd review as this company have literally the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They never respond. So I called them to find out where the missing fire blanker that was supposed to be included in my landlord kit was. I was promised it will be with you in the next 2 days. Guess what no fire blanket. Totally useless
