We are delighted with the balcony and decking fitted by Neil and Tyler during dreadful weather conditions. Their workmanship was excellent along with the product,we had many admirers of the quality and finish of the decking,we would gladly recommend Fitrite products and service. A big thank you again to Neil and Tyler for their hard work and long hours.

(Don't use this company). I can't put into words just how bad this company is. In February, Fitrite (Fitwrong) came to install decking to two sides of our property at a cost of just under £6,000. From the start, communication about the planned installation was a complete mess. One side was done with a few areas that needed addressing afterwards. They came back two days later to do the other side. They tried to install the complete decking in two and a half hours, as they were booked on a ferry to leave the Isle of Wight. There are loads of puns we could use but Fitwrong is our favourite. Trying to address the shocking installation by this awful company has been a nightmare. They really need to buy a spirit level, some boards were fitted unevenly, there were padstones left above the surface and to top it all, the steps were not in line with the back door by about a foot. They made us feel like they were doing us a favour in addressing their shocking workmanship. They don't communicate with their work teams. They have now addressed some of the issues and we have decided to leave it there, rather than deal with them anymore. We have had to lower our expectations and view the finished work as if we'd asked a neighbour to 'knock up a deck' for us.

Dave & Kyle was very friendly and helpful with any questions I asked. Very punctual starting at 8.30 am for the 2 days they fitted my decking. Very professional finish and very tidy.

Really good experience with this company throughout - they got back to our initial query really quickly to arrange a consultation, got the decking installation booked in promptly, and was offered lots of choice and options as we discussed what we were after. For the installation itself the two Micks and Ellis did a fantastic job - the whole thing was done in three days and they were friendly and professional throughout. The deck looks great and is flawlessly put together.

Found this company whilst searching for a more upmarket replacement of an old wooden shed. Impressed by the information provided by salesman Dan Smith, and decided on a garden room tweaked to give maximum sun and light through large windows. Steel frame and double insulation with a good choice of cladding make for a sturdy low maintenance building. Fitrite could perhaps give more attention to the finish of the floor of the room.
Nick Scales and Ellis Mawby worked very hard to complete the construction in just three and a half days and create an impressive and flexible use building.

We had a deck fitted in November. We were very happy with the deck installation, but the installers refitted our pergola at an angle so it is no longer parallel to the wall.

It was originally parallel to the wall, and the angled refit has now caused one of the pergola roofing panels to come loose. I will now be out of pocket to get our pergola refitted to straighten the posts back to parallel with the back wall, and to replace the loose roofing panel.

While we are extremely happy with the decking installation and quality, we are also terribly disappointed at the poor workmanship in the refitting of our existing pergola, and that we will now incur additional costs to get the pergola fixed.

Update 19/04/2024
I was contacted by a representative shortly after posting my original review and Fitrite sent an engineer out to fix the problems that were caused by the skewed posts, and secured them in place so they would not be shaken by strong wind again. They also refitted the roof panel that had come out.

I am grateful for their quick response in getting this fixed.

It's all good now, and we are still very happy with the service we have received from Fitrite.

I would highly recommend them, not only for the professionalism and great installation work, but also for their after sales/installation service.

Tried to get replacement boards for current fitrite UPVC composite decking as some are discoloured and warped. Willing to buy them but this company aren’t interested in helping with any aftercare. Wont return emails or calls. Receptionist promised us Liam would call back today and nothing. Avoid this company and its cheap products at all costs.

We have just had a garden room built by fitrite. We needed it to be built quickly and they fit us in super fast and built it in 7 days. It’s absolutely AMAZING! The lads who worked on it came early every day and left late every day. Mick Scales and Ellis were INCREDIBLE. So friendly, hardworking and skilful. I cannot recommend this company enough and those two in particular. Their work is exceptional and we are so so happy! THANK YOU!!

Bought a new static caravan in August 2020 with a just been put on Plastic Decking supplied and fitted by Fitrite which was ordered by The caravan park owner, When we bought the caravan we was told the decking had a 10 year warranty which was supposed to cover any eventuality that might occur, At the end of September/October 2023 noticed that the hand rails and Gate was fading badly ( only 3years old ) reported it to the caravan park sales office and they said they would get Fitrite to have a look at it under a warranty claim, so waited all winter with no news, So when our season started in middle of February we went to the caravan sales office on site to see if there was any update and they basically told us that Fitrite don’t cover fading under warranty, So Beware if you are going to use this company.

UPDATE,
Once Fitrite had seen this review they asked to contact them which I did and they said they wanted to sort out the problems that we had ( by now I had seen more fading on the posts, Spindles, and facias which cover the wooden frame ) and told them about this and they said they would have a look and do what was necessary, So we arranged a date 10th April but we unfortunately was not able to be there due to work commitments but they said they would carry out the work anyway which we was happy for them to do, so they came there to carry out the work and within an hour and half the sent me a message saying they had completed the job, ( which I knew they hadn’t done it all due to the time scale ) so I phoned and queried this and they said yes all completed, so when we next went to our caravan we noticed some of the work hadn’t been done so phoned them again explaining that it was not complete and was told to send photos ( which I did ) and they would review it, we waited 2 months for a No They Won’t Cover It Under Warranty, Whilst this has been going on I’ve read other Reviews saying about Fading and won’t Cover Under Warranty.

The decking is lovely had a couple of issues with small faults in three of the decking panels. They were changed then we found another but we decided to keep it as it is as it would have mean a lot more work to get to the faulty board. The 10 guarantee is still in place and they reduced our cost slightly.

Fitrite supplied and installed a front and side Decking for our Static Caravan near Pickering, Everything went according to plan form the first meeting with Chris Black to the installation.
On review of the finished Decking it exceeded all of our expectations, Superb quality all Around, And the colour match with the Caravan is spot on.
A big thanks to Daz and Tom, no mess was left just a fantastic job.....Cheers guys will recommend to anybody, thank you all at Fitrite

Rob and Sam fitted our upvc deck to an amazing standard. The structure looked solid and sturdy, they worked so hard in the cold and rain. The decking looks so smart and tidy, its fabulous. The guys even jet washed the patio and took all the old stuff away. Highly recommend them!

Absolutely delighted with our new garden house! These three guys worked flat out day after day in all weather plus drove miles to and from our property! I couldn't recommend Stuart, Mick and Chalky highly enough! Top job by top blokes! They deserve a pay rise...or at least a percentage of the price we've paid!👌👍 thanks guys you've completely excelled yourselves!

We went with Fitrite after they were recommended to us, so glad we did. We are absolutely thrilled with our decking which included a shelter around our front door. We found Fitrite to be a friendly and professional company to work with from the planning stage with Emma to the guys who came and did the build. Nothing too much trouble, even when I wanted the ramp extended. Would definitely recommend Fitrite in the future.

A couple of weeks ago we enquired about having a gate attached to our decking area. The response was so efficient, within a week or two the job was booked in to commence week beginning 3rd December. We are now at 7 th December & the job is compleat. Very satisfied. Thank you Fitrite.
