Great service and reasonable price
From start to end the experience was great. Jarred our estimator was quick and efficient and happy to talk through and adapt the quote for us. The job was quick and the finish absolutely perfect. Our car was immaculate when returned. Could not fault Fix Auto. Great service and very reasonable price. Special mention to Maisie the cheeriest receptionist, nothing was to much trouble.

From booking to finish very smooth and helpful experience, I booked in my father's can for some minor MOT repair as unfortunately the Main dealer excessively misquoted for an over repair which was not necessary. Work was all done in a day which was a bonus, will continue business.

Very friendly and helpful staff
Very friendly and helpful staff, the repair they have done on my car is brilliant. The only small criticism I would have is the communication side of things. When I dropped my car off for repair I was told that someone would call me later that day to advise me how long roughly it would take, and that someone would then follow it up 4 days later to update me with how it’s going. I heard nothing from them until I called myself for an update. Despite that, every person I have dealt with has been friendly and professional.

In response to your review the delay in collecting the vehicle was purely down to parts availability which we advised you of, your vehicle was driveable and we collected it once the part became available from dealer. In response to the issue that we didn't complete repairs. As discussed your instruction to the insurance company was that you reversed into a bollard causing damage to the rear of your vehicle and this is what was sent to us by the insurance company in the form of a notification, once we repaired the car and returned it to you, you pointed out damage to the front and said it was part of the same claim. We did enquire how did you damage the front of the vehicle whilst reversing into a bollard but you wasn't sure so at this point we suggested to you that you contacted your insurance company to discuss and if they are happy that it is related and can be proved we are more than happy to collect the car when convenient and repair the additional area. We hadn't heard from yourself or the insurance company and assumed the issues had been resolved. Again if you would like to speak to your insurance company to discuss the front and they are happy it is related as previously stated we are more than happy to collect and repair for you.

Have confidence, they are awesome at what they do
I called and spoke to the guys @ FixAuto Chelmsford after my sons car was driven into whilst stationary by a bin lorry. Danny & Paul spent time with me answering my questions and offering advice before I agreed to use them and before I settled with the insurance company. They saved me money by using green parts. I would highly recommend them, they were always spoken highly about at my old company who used them several times also over the years for their work fleet. I can confidently say they have your best interests at heart and once the estimate was agreed they had the car repaired quickly. Also doing the MOT for me which had become due after the accident had taken place.

Even though there was a wait for repairs due to delays within the industry at the moment fix auto carried out all repairs to an excellent standard. They were informative and professional throughout the process and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking repair services.

Can not fault repair
Can not fault repair, pleasant receptionist, the only thing is the courtesy car on offer, need to update the vehicle, car given was almost un drivable. Having said that the Company is great

booking issue to start quickly forgotten with the quality of the work done
I had an issue initially booking the repair as I confirmed I was happy with the quote to the assessor who responded to say he would get someone to call me to book this in, I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing, so I followed up with him and he responded the same way, I heard nothing so I contacted the general number rather than going to the assessor and got it booked in no probs. I would suggest that the initial information I got about someone contacting me may not be their policy and should be clarified when discussing quotes. I have given 5 stars though because the quality of the repair is first class and I wouldn't hesitate on using them again

Overcharged!!

They did the job well but now we can't get hold of AXA to get our money back!!!
Also would suggest they detach themselves from AXA insurance as they are extremely difficult and costly to get hold of!!!

Hi Kym, Firstly I would like to thank you for saying that the job we carried out on your vehicle was done well. In response to the time period, you found yourself in the unfortunate position of having two claims on your vehicle at the same time, each claim was for damage to both sides of your vehicle front to back and parts where required. We like all other body-shops currently find ourselves in the position of having cars on site and the manufacturers in your case Suzuki are unable to fulfil parts orders, this does I'm sorry to say delay the process of getting the car turned around and back to you as quickly as we normally would.
Reference your excess this is advised by your insurance company to yourselves and also us. We collect this money on their behalf at point of completion of the repairs. We only collect the monies we are advised by the insurance company and would suggest you persist with getting hold of AXA if you feel this is incorrect in anyway.
Once again we are glad you are happy with the overall repair and thank you for your custom.
