Great service once again

Following recent works on my car, I realised a slight issue. To be clear not with the work carried out but with a marker used on my windscreen. This could only be seen when the car got wet.

On contacting the customer relations manager, he quickly looked into the possible cause and gave a solution.

They were flexible and got me in, in a few days. I was greeted well and my vehicle in and rectified in an hour.

Brilliant customer service.

I apologise for the delays that happened but please be advised as this is an insurance work we could only do what has been authorised by the work provider and the sensors on your car was initially not a part. The insurance engineer later made a decision to authorise it after they decided to take the vehicle to the main dealers for further diagnostics which took all the time.

Terrible Customer Service and even worse service on the repair of the car

I was unfortunately in an accident through no fault of my own, insurance company sent me to this garage. Took approx 1 month for the repairs, and it has had to go back 4 times since then due to the job not being done properly or new marks and scratches being added to my car that were not there before hand. I phoned them up with all of the issues that I had experienced including added miles on my car where they had been driving around in it and the customer service was appalling. Stay clear!

SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR NOW

My car went in to get the bumper replaced and was returned to me with other issues.
I noticed my car is leaking from the exhaust and the petrol is rapidly going down 3x faster than it would before i took it in for repairs.
But when i brought it back for them to check it out and expressed my concerns of my car leaking petrol, the man that seemed like the manger was condescending, unhelpful and belittling. I was told "that normally happens when you drive your car, the petrol goes down". He did not want to check or run any diagnostic on the car instead turned me away and suggested i pay to get my car checked out somewhere else.

As a female, going into a mechanics can be very intimidating as it is, let alone being met with such an attitude, treatment and a car that now has other issues.

I wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone and would say stay away.

Thanks for sharing your review. As you correctly pointed out the vehicle only came for bumper and tailgate (body work); I cannot categorise the issues you mentioned as an issue hence I gave you the right advice. Your car will be required to heat up to function correctly as a result, your vehicle accumulates extra heat, which is then released through the car's exhaust pipes. As a result, you will notice water droplets flowing out of your exhaust pipes since the heat will cause condensation. That’s the characteristics of exhaust. The indicator for the fuel left in car (miles left figure) - is only based on estimation and not a true representation of actual fuel left. It is based on the driving, acceleration and braking pattern.

As within the body shop environment for several years I understood these are nothing to do with the repairs and don’t believe there to be any problem at all with your car hence I only advised you for your own peace of mind to take it to Suzuki directly and see if they can find any fault after which you can share the findings report with us so we can liaise with insurance engineer and get the work done if at all anything required. I once again believe there is nothing wrong with your vehicle.

I apologise if you felt intimidated, unhelpful,condescending or belittling by my attitude but I was only trying to do my job and give you a true straightforward advice and believe I was completely professional during the time we spoke.
Please be advised you have a 5 years of repair warranty for all the work carried out and
should you still have any concerns or may require any assistance in future, please let me know and I’ll be more than happy to help.

Worrying oversights

While body work good, Fix Auto did not realise that the panel they replaced included the sound system cables. So returned a vehicle with no sound. No alarm for seat belts, no parking sensor sounds, no blue tooth, no radio etc. This is information readily available on line - so incompetent and returned potentially dangerous vehicle. Also delays at multiple points e.g. 2 weeks from engineers visit to logging report.

Thank you for your feedback and the rating.

When the car was collected - we collected without any sound. As an insurance repairer we only take the task on which is authorised and regulated by the engineers at insurance. We have replaced the LR panel and have stripped it and i can confirm you that's not where the sound cables are based. As this issue is not mentioned on the claim instruction and the authority received by the insurance engineer and you said you would be taking the vehicle to the main dealers for annual service and will get this issue checked whilst the car is there. As confirmed over the emails we did inform you if BMW confirms this is accident related then you would send the report to us directly and we can get the insurance engineer to review the problem and authorise this for you instead of you paying to rectify the issue.

This has nothing to do with how competent we are and I was under the impression that you understood everything before you accepted the vehicle as per our email conversation.
