I needed some wooden worktop, preferably oak for a project to refurbish a kitchen and dining room. I wanted a solid wood surface for my bookcase and also my built-in bench seating. After much searching, I came across Fixmer, following a very helpful phone call with one of their colleagues I went ahead and purchased one A/BC Grade – Solid European Oak Panel 20mm and two Finger Joint Grade – Solid European Oak Panels 20mm online. These were available in different lengths to avoid wastage and ease of fitting in my car. I arranged to collect my purchase from their showroom was easy and they kept the panels ready wrapped to one side for me ready for my arrival. This was far cheaper despite the 200 mile (e.v.) round-trip and getting a delivery. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly helpful staff and offered a coffee whilst my oak board was collected from the warehouse. I highly recommend Fixmer for quality of products price and customer service and would definitely purchase from them again.

Product was second to none, service was of the highest order, it was a real pleasure dealing with the whole team at FIXIMER.

Used this company for all my engineered door linings and architrave as well as oak clad window boards and had fantastic service from beginning to end, all products have been high quality and packaged immaculately.
I like that you can make enquires through whatsapp and response time is good, I would highly recommend this company.

Terrible experience. I ordered 13 oak treads, saw the Ts&Cs on the package which stated that items should be checked within 48hrs. I took the treads out, checked that they were all there and looked OK. Then kept them flat in the (warm and dry) bedroom until my handyman came 18 days later. He took out his spirit level and saw that a couple of them were slightly warped (about 5mm). Fiximir initially said that I had not adhered to the T&Cs as I had not immediately sealed them, so they were unable to do anything about it. They also said that had the treads been warped on delivery, I would have noticed. I sent them a photo to show how to an untrained eye the treads looked fine but they were having none of this. After several back and forths, they agreed to replace the two treads if I sent the faulty ones back at my own expense, all the while making it clear that they were under no obligation to do this as the treads hadn't been sealed. As the cost of this would have been almost as much as buying two new ones, I politely declined. This could all have been resolved so easily but instead Fiximir chose to deliver a really poor customer service. I would not recommend them.

Special mention for Declan who sorted out my problem made sure the replacement wood matched my previous order. All sales staff are very knowledgeable friendly and very helpful

I have used products from this company a few times. Oak window boards are a rue uplift to a window. All the products I have purchased have arrived very well protected and in a superb condition.

My first experience with fiximer today, I called them first and the chap on the phone was really good and I ended up driving one and a half hours from where I live to there showroom . I got to the showroom and I must say I can’t remember when I’ve gone into a showroom like this the staff was absolutely fantastic the products was top quality and the lads in the warehouse was fantastic so knowledgeable. I will use this company every time from now They are a credit to deal with. Just wish every company I deal with was like fiximer.
