Extremely fast 24hr delivery to Northern Ireland. Really important in my new locksmith business here to get parts quickly. Thank you. And prices are reasonable as well.
Fantastic service, very competitive prices and fast dispatch. All round great customer service. 👍🏻
I bought a lock and it was the wrong size, returned it and reordered the correct size. The lock was received in good time and I was credited with the price of the wrong one however not for the postage cost of returning the incorrect one. It was my fault but as it was ordered through Amazon I might have expected the return to be free.
Ok if they manage to send you the correct key code with the lock!
Bought three 3* diamond Yale locks that came with 3 keys each. I ordered spare keys for each lock from the key code they supplied. Two of the spare keys worked fine in their respective locks but the third came back with a different shape and wouldn’t work.
Contacted FixTrade and they said because I’d ordered they keys online (from Amazon because FixTrade don’t do spare keys) the supplier probably didn’t have access to the codes and equipment and ask me to go to another supplier and get another key cut to resolve the problem. I did as they asked at my expense and got another spare exactly the same as the other 2 that didn’t work proving it was the code that was incorrect!
After pushing an unwilling supplier they asked me to send the lock back and they would investigate. I replied pointing out if i sent the lock back I couldn’t lock the house door.
Company policy, send the lock back first! But how do I lock the house, old lock disposed of? Send the lock back that’s our process.
Time to compromise, ok, send me a replacement,I’ll pay to have it fitted then promise to send lock back in writing. Nope, send lock back!
Ok, compromise doesn’t work even after trying to reason so asked for refund and I would send the lock back in their prepaid label. Nope send lock back first!
Eventually informed them they had 10 working days and I will take it to Amazon and small claim court, response, best of luck escalating it!
So I have, Amazon have written to them and I’ve started N1 small claim online claim.
As a footnote the supplier (UPVC Hardware Direct on Amazon) that did the 2 spare keys correctly to the wrong code supplied by FixTrade said as a gesture of goodwill (even though they were not at fault) 100% refunded the cost of the spare keys. Now that’s customer service.
UPDATE 9th January 2021
Nice reply online in public view. Behind the scenes there customer service have reiterated through Amazon that I have to remove my front door lock, leave the house without a lock on the door thereby invalidating my insurance and send it back to them to “investigate”. Investigate? This parrot is dead mate.
Reasonable compromise is send me a replacement, I will fit it then publicly promise to send the faulty lock and keys back.

Most helpful when I ordered the wrong lock.
Mine was a really small order that went astray in the post but my enquiry was treated as if I had ordered a million dollars order.
Great experience. Have ordered multiple times through their Ebay page aswell as their website. Their customer service is excellent. Would highly recommend fix trade.
I first bought the window handles from their Amazon shop, but then they were out of stock, so I went to their website and eventually bought them there. All went smoothly. Quick delivery, very good price, all good. Definitely recommend.
Second time I have used FixTrade, just as good as the first, will use again.
