Worked a treat. Found a very promising flatmate (and I'm picky) in just a couple of weeks. Process was very smooth, website functions well, pretty good value.

This is a great platform and is easy to navigate to find places within your criteria and to talk to people looking for someone to move in. I have had a great time using this platform! Only thing is it would be great if there was an app or some sort of notification besides email when someone messages you but other than that, it’s great!

I like this website for finding a place to rent the most, because it's designed well, easy to use, and has the largest amount of choice. I have had no issues with using the website. The only down side, is that to contact a landlord of an early bird listing you have to wait until it's a normal listing/some time has passed, and so you miss out on the best listings obviously; unless you upgrade your account for a fee. However saying that, the fee isn't that high, so it is worth it if you really don't want to miss out on anything or compromise on choice. Found a lovely housemate through here, so far so good

it has been difficult with Covid 19 for various reasons we have found it very hard to secure a new flatmate.We managed to find someone who works nearby in walking distance so that was a change this time normally we get lots of flatmates doing long distances to work, so pleased we could cut out travel for someone. appreciated

I had amazing success through flatmates.com. I had so many offers from decent rooms I couldn’t keep up, but managed to find a great place within one week of activating my account. Just be on the look out for people wanting bond money before you even view the property to ‘secure’ your place, only transfer the bond or rent money to someone you’ve had strong open communication with only after you’ve viewed the property. It was only 1 bad apple in my case but it’s important people (especially women and students) are aware that no matter how great the platform is, you’ll unfortunately always have ‘those’ types of people who are out to scam good people. But I still 100% would highly recommend flatmates.com
