Bought this as it is supposed to remove black spot,after following instructions it removed most of them but only after several applications. It seemed to be a very expensive way of cleaning patio £41.99 for 5Lt.
It didn't say on the container what it was made up of but it had a smell of bleach so I assumed it must have sodium hypochlorite in it.
I then enquired at my local farming suppliers and they had a 20Lt container of sodium hypochlorite at a cost of £18.00!!! Guess what it worked just as well as the floorseal
and I have loads left !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forgot to add in response to floorseal comment, sodium hypochlorite is widely available for purchase and is 14/15% solution if it was dangerous it would NOT be for sale to the general public!!

Just seen comment from floorseal saying sodium hypochlorite is hazardous because it attacks organic life!! As far as I remember black spot, white spot, green algae and all lichens are all organic which is what we want to remove. This is taken from floorseal website "It provides fantastic results on all difficult to remove ORGANIC marks and stains." So floorseal is not hazardous even though it attacks organic life!!!! This also "DIRECTIONS OF USE
Use a suitable PPE – Safety mask, goggles and gloves" If you need to wear PPE it would be nice to know the hazardous nature of the product. We as the end user have no idea what the chemical is.

Thank you for your review. You are obviously free to use whichever product and method you wish to clean your patio. We could suggest several products which you could/can clean with, some of them we would not recommend. When you retail cleaning products most have PPE symbols, we are legally obliged to note them. Hazard symbols will refer to a componant whether it is very strong or less strong.
We are a relatively new company and have already built up an average review rating of between 4 & 5 stars. Our belief is that we have done a pretty good job thus far.
Trustpilot allows anyone to leave us a review, we do not and could not adapt the reviews received. Floorseal engaged an independent company to collect and display our reviews so they are bona fide. This displays information about a verified buyers’ experience.
Some companies will simply publish a collection of reviews on their homepage. Our belief is this is not transparent as they are of an unknown origin & cannot be validated. It is highly unlikely any company can keep everyone totally happy all the time, some negative reviews will be received. If there are none it is likely the company in question is not allowing all their reviews through.
We feel we have stated our position and have nothing further to add.

Many thanks for your review. The way to combat the adjacent areas being effected is to heavily pre wet them with water. That way the product is diluted if it hits them - although we do appreciate this may not always if you get a very large amount of run off.
Excellent products
Products are excellent. I have a stone floor which I previously sealed with Matt sealer and it looked very drab. I used Floorseal cleaner and then four coats of the satin finish sealer and it is beautiful. All the colour has come through and water just rolls off.
The only problem I had was with the central control of the courier as they didn’t deliver on the date they stated they would!

Many thanks for your review. Please be aware that black spot removers, regardless of brand, are a cleanng product and as such do not seal. The purpose of the solution is to remove organic contamination such as black lichens or algae. To seal stone you would need an impregnating sealer or topical sealer. Floorseal Patio Black Spot Remover Plus has a high active content so is more expensive than a general patio cleaner. This means it will will remove lichens, where as a general patio cleaner will not remove lichen. This product is around 30% cheaper than comparable high strength products when purchased in a 5 litre container. When bought in a 25 litre container it would be less than half the price.
