We are so glad we chose to go with Fluent – Tom and Neville were fantastic throughout the design process. Their administrator Sarah was also exceptionally helpful, spending much time on the phone answering our many queries! But what makes Fluent so very special is the Building support service they provide, free of charge, after the design has been approved. Paul, who runs this service, is simply brilliant! Not only such a personable man, but he genuinely cares and wants to help his clients through the stressful process of renovation. He both helped us find some excellent builders and also supported us as we faced some difficult situations during the building work. Were it not for Paul, we would have found the process significantly more challenging. We feel very fortunate that we have come across Paul and also Fluent, a fantastic company!

Our experience with Fluent was excellent! From the initial site visit right through to the new builder introduction service the team were professional and couldn't have been more helpful. The service we found the most useful was the support from Paul to find builders and help in secure our project on budget which was a challenge due to the recent hike in prices! This service was invaluable and helped us negotiate costs with the builder to help reduce the cost of the project. Paul had an in depth understanding of the cost of building material and a good relationship with local builders which helped us with the daunting task of reviewing detailed quotes and ensuring we were not being over charged. This service was an excellent addition to the range of services Fluent provide.

Fluent prepared 3D drawings and provided a VR package. They also submitted a planning application with some changes to the original applications which was successfully approved.
The architect we worked with was very patient. We had a number of live sessions to talk through the design. He gave good advice and was happy to make numerous changes. The drawings and the VR package helped us visualise the project. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was that the process was quite slow and took longer than I had anticipated. Nevertheless, I wish we had used Fluent from the start.

I recently contacted Fluent ADS with regard to exploring the possibility of building a new dwelling adjacent to my parents existing property, something that would be more suitable for them as their current cottage is not really 'user friendly' now that they are older and becoming less mobile.
Sarah responded to my email enquiry very quickly and during our subsequent phone call was polite, interested and explained how they would initially tackle concerns regarding possible planning issues before moving on to any further stages of discussion. Shortly afterwards I received a very detailed explanation of likely planning issues and suggestions of alternative solutions for consideration.
Sadly a sudden deterioration in the health of one of my parents has meant we have now had to abandon this idea altogether, but this does not take away from what I felt was an excellent service from Fluent in so far as our initial communications went.
Having attempted to make contact with a number of architectural companies over the last couple of years when wanting to make alterations to my own property, I had discovered an alarmingly negative and uninterested attitude from quite a lot of them so the response and input from Sarah and Ellen at Fluent ADS provided a refreshingly positive change!
I'm certain that at some point in the future I will once again be needing architectural services and will not hesitate to contact Fluent ADS to discuss the options.

Few years ago Fluent helped us design our home. We did a two story back and side extension. Not only they worked very flexibly with us doing many versions of drawings they worked with the council planning team to get us the necessary planning permissions for the build.
During the build as well they were very helpful to get alterations passed through planning when we changed our mind.
Even recently I called to get a small drawing, they were so obliging and turned around the plans for us within a day. They are the best professionals and a competent architectural design firm I have worked with and would highly recommend them.

What a smooth process to get to planning approval. Cannot fault anything, we have been kept up to date the whole time and everyone is very helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Started out well, but "missed photos", no account management from staff- just passing you onto the next person, wrong measurements which led to us having to buy a new boiler and bed not fitting in the loft and lots of other small issues!

Find Fluent Architectural Design Services to be the total package. Superbly responsive, professional, cost effective all in manages full expectations in a timely manner. Really impressive and well run firm.

Fluent are personable, professional with the ability to think outside the box. This was demonstrated by their ability to provide options around design layouts, proactively responding and dealing with queries quickly. Even taking the time for face to face meetings to agree minor changes to the plans on our part, and engaging with the council where needed.

Overall the team have delivered approved plans, building regulation plans, arranged structural calculations and recommended builders for quotes.

Very pleased with the service we have received so far. Together with fluent we have planned a large rear extension and a double storey side extension. Fluent’s prices are very competitive and we have had our planning permission granted within 4 months and are now going on to the next stages with Fluent who have been very supportive with and provided us with very thorough service.

We were very worried about taking the plunge in getting our house renovated.

We wanted a rear extension and the stairs and bathroom moving upstairs. It is a huge task but Fluent have been amazing.

We sat with Tom and discussed what we wanted from our renovation and Tom saw our vision and ensured we got what we wanted.

They took full ownership of the plans, structural calculations and taking care of the planning applications. Worth every penny!

Nev also create a detail visual of what our extension would look like and this was so helpful when choosing our kitchen and finding the perfect location within the extension to put the kitchen.

Although Fluent cannot fully recommend a builder they did share three builders that they had seen the outcome of their work and the builder we chose have worked so fast.

They work late nights and start early, and I cannot stress how much of a breeze the whole process has been so far.

We are so thankful we came across Fluent by accident but yet it feels like we are working with friends we have known all our lives.

All the staff are lovely, and I cannot speak more highly of them all.

We are embarking on a loft extension and sizeable dormer to our 3 bed semi. Our neighbours used Fluent and highly recommended their services. We have not been disappointed. Tom provided us with an insight as to what we could achieve and Nev was brilliant tweaking our drawings until our vision was realised! Superb service, not forgetting Leona who has advised and kept us up to date. Our planning app has just been approved, much quicker than anticipated. We will now revisit building reg plans etc and make good use of the advice from Fluent. Would highly recommend.

We used Fluent recently for a front and rear extension and their service was great! Having a really approachable team really helped in the process, along with being really knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tom/Nev and the whole team.

Elaine and Leona were very patient throughout an incredibly stressful experience with our local planning dept, which took 8 months to approve due incorrect advice from one of the planners. They changed drawings more than half a dozen times to satisfy, I am very grateful to both of them for their help and guidance, this is the third time we have used fluent and have been very happy throughout.
