Didn't even get to the flight

Didn't even get to the flight. I arrived to the airport 70 mins before the flight. Tried to board online and was told I had to go to the checkin desk, which was in the other extreme of the airport. It took me 15 mins to get there. There was nobody, the desk was closed, I couldn't board. The plane left one hour later. Terrible airline. No service at all at the airport. Everybody at the airport I talked with told me it is a terrible airline and not to be trusted.

Pretty poor experience overall

Pretty poor experience overall. However, I will start with the positives.
Pricing - Flights were competitively priced for basic packages.
Staff - The staff on flight and at desk were lovely and professional. Very good with my young children.

Cons:
Communications: so so so much room for improvement. Following all guidance and after email reminders I attempted to check in for my flight 24h in advance. I couldn't. I spoke to customer support and they said 24h before the second leg of my flight which caused me to change my plans for that day. Please only highlight the "check in" button on web UI and send a reminder when a customer is actually able to check in... that's just common sense.
Next up for communications, I was booking on behalf of a family of 5, imagine my dismay when I got every email 5 times for each member of my party. Boarding passes (5 times), reminder to check in flight 1 (5 times), reminder to check in for flight 2 (5 times) then finally "checked in" (5 times) on both outbound and inbound flights.
Finally I got an email about my flight aircraft being changed to an "all white plane but the same play service" this was 2 days after I landed and was back at home. A real headscratcher.

Additional extras: All airlines have too many money grabs and Play is no different but I do feel like they breached their own T&C when placing my 3 year old child on a seat by themselves up the plane from me was a step too far and led to awkward conversations I did not want to have when their customer service chatbot advised me to buy a seat on future travels.

As a solo transatlantic traveller I would consider travelling play again even with all the hurdles I faced. However, as a family it was just too much of a headache and added stress to an already stressful time.

Had a great experience overall!

Had a great experience overall!
My flight from Warsaw to Keflavík was delayed, but delays can happen with any airline. The return flight from Keflavík to Warsaw was on time.

The airline is reliable and offers good service — I absolutely recommend it.
It’s really unfortunate that they will stop flying to London by the end of October.

Bad service on the airport

Took the return flight to Billund denmark first of all it was expensive than needed to pay extra for the luggage while paying high price for the ticket ðonly, the luggage should be included .
Than on return was not possible to check in online have to check in on the airport, and because of a heavy traffic we arrived 5 minutes late and were refused to board on because we were there at 11:50 and check in stopped at 11:45. And the flyplay agent on the airport toally trefused to help and we had to buy new tickets to fly back home on iceland air which cost us 111000 kr extra for just to be 5 minutes late

Great service and quality of aircraft for great prices.

I have been flying with Play 4-6 times per year since they started operating and never been disappointed or had any issues. The price of airfare plus the quality of the aircrafts and service level of cabin crew has been absolutely top level. I can't complain about anything. Thank you 😊

Positive Play Air Experience

We booked our flights with Play because of the competitive cost. Dublin-Reykjavík-Boston return. A little apprehensive because I hadn’t heard of them before. Bag drop process quick and smooth - checked straight through to destination. No fuss about bags. Cabin staff very pleasant and helpful. Whole process and journey very fuss free. Need to bring your own food or purchase on board. No in flight entertainment but we knew that beforehand so brought our own. Food in stopover airport v expensive. Would definitely book with Play again but would like them to get an app. Also would like to be able to book multi destination so I could arrive and depart from different airports although maybe this is possible. Flights all on time.

Play is fine BUT

Play is fine BUT: the ‘low-cost’ publicity is annoying because it isn’t really that low cost, Also, in that venue it is almost inhumane that you don’t even offer water to passengers.
