Good Talkers But Unethical
I recently received a few calls from various companies while I was in the process of acquiring business funding. I gave the opportunity to three companies that shared with me that they were direct lenders, and my information would not be shopped around to other companies and that my credit would not be pulled. I expressed my concern with each company that I did not want my credit pulled or my file shopped around before giving them any further information. However, I found out later that all of the three companies shopped my information around to other companies and my credit was pulled multiple times. The companies that did not have my consent to pull my credit include FMS Advance, Merchant Refi, and Same Day Funding. They practice of each of these companies is unethical.
