A premium quality collector's edition from FS which complements the series beautifully. What makes these editions so special is that FS take their time with the finest details and really care to make each edition special. The illustrator does not attempt to replace the reader's imagination and the level of attention given to every single chapter heading is outstanding. Looking forward to A Dance with Dragons, which, I expect, will be even more impressive considering the number of POVs and their varying 'identities'. These are simply the ultimate editions of George R. R. Martin's magnum opus to be read and admired again and again.

It's not cheap, but the book quality is superb. The illustrations are very well done, the paper quality is very good, and the exteriors (both of the books themselves and the slipcase) are fantastic.
