Childhood’s End has always been my favourite novel ever. It’s also the only book of which I own more than one copies, including an old one published in my year of birth (1966). So I decided that my collection deserved this luxurious illustrated edition. I didn’t regret this decision at all: the quality of printing, binding and packaging is outstanding, and delivery was swift and correct. I even re-read the book once again to enjoy this wonderful edition even more.
Decades after publishing, this is still a classic of science fiction.
I only bought as it was a good price for the book. It came neatly packed and wrapped well. Love the illustrations and the quality paper and cover.

I first read this book many years ago and I have always liked it. When I saw that a Folio edition had finally been released I knew that I had to get it and I have not been disappointed.
I've read it before and it's one of my favorites. The binding and illustrations are superb.
Very happy with the Arthur C. Clarke line from Folio Society, and hoping to see more of them. Book and slipcase are both well illustrated. Only quibble is the way the title was printed on the spine is a bit hard to read.
Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but the book looks great.
