Like many, Spielberg's adaptation of Jaws is one of my favourite films but I've never read Benchley's novel, so I'm very excited that this version will be my first time to dive in. The quality of this book is outstanding, it appears very well bound with great quality paper and handsome formatting. I really like the bright red slipcase evoking a blood-filled ocean and the image of jaws, a very nice touch. I adore the cover art by Hokyoung Kim, which diverts away from trying to copy the iconic film poster and does its own thing brilliantly. The artwork inside feels like a slightly more graphic style than the cover, but every image is very well crafted, composed and enjoyable to look at. Can't wait to start reading!
