This timeless series is beautifully represented by Fay Dalton’s masterful artwork. The quality of these Folio Society editions of Ian Fleming’s work are must-purchases for collectors. Truly, these are wonderful reading experiences!
This series of books are outstanding, the pictures are very "of the era" I cant wait for the rest to be published, and hopefully they will continue on with the continuation novels
Again an excellently packaged item. Sumptuous illustrations by Fay Dalton, complemented superbly with one of Mr. Fleming's most diverting tales.
The story itself is a classic, if in parts dated. The FS editions of the 007 series are beautifully produced with gorgeous illustrations by Fay Dalton and look great on a bookshelf. Hopefully they will continue to expand the series to include all of Fleming's novels.

The book was purchased as a gift. It’s a Fleming Bond novel, so you either get him or you don’t, so I will not review the novel itself of course, but rather the production values of the book: Fantastic looking book, from the amazing slip case to the textured fabric cover, that has a very period spy-fi aesthetic, with the color choices of the cloth and metallic embossing. The paper is of the highest quality and the painted illustrations incredibly well done. You would expect quality for the price, but it exceeded my expectations.
Not ian Fleming's best james bond story by far but reading it again now years later I found a hugely enjoyed it. Great folio release with quality paper, binding, slipcase and artwork.
Excellent, high quality. The art work alone is worth the cost of the book. I hope the Folio Society will eventually publish all fourteen of Ian Fleming's James Bond books.

This story always had it all from the standpoint of fiction. Now it had beautiful illustrations and quality casing too. More Bond please!
