I love the gold cover - the cloth has a very nice tactile feel when reading. Illustrations by the Balbusso twins are amazing as always. I’ve read this book numerous times before, but reading it from this edition added that much more enjoyment.

As I previously stated the book is beyond beautiful BUT for the minimal amount of illustrations the price does not warrant $107.00 after shipping. I will not purchase the set from This company due to this reason. I have seen them from other US vendors and I will look to them to complete collection if possible.

A classic book. You have to think about some sentences carefully but that is a joy. The illustrations accurately depict the part of the story they were meant for and they are very artistic. It is always nice to handle a well made and printed book such as this.

I am a huge fan of Jane Austen’s novels, and was incredibly pleased to see Folio Society present them so beautifully, with the respect and attention to detail that they deserve. These timeless editions match the timeless works of Miss Austen and are a stunning edition to a book collection.
