Customer service was responsive and I was able to get my QR code to ship clothes to them to recycle. My only criticism overall is that I never seem to get credit for the clothes I send back (not a big concern for me because I honestly don't want to purchase much from them. My main concern is sending old clothes to a place that will recycle the clothes and not dump them in a landfill). I wanted to make note of the credit for those who actually want to shop for items on their site.

Customer service was amazing and they immediately fixed my issues. I was honestly surprised! Made me want to stick around with this company after an initially poor experience.

Great high quality clothes and exceptional customer service to boot. I accidentally placed an order without using my closet cash. I emailed them asking to cancel so I could do it properly and they reimbursed my credit card and deducted my closet cash. So easy! Very satisfied with this company. Thank you!

Had a question regarding closet cash and I was able to get a quick and helpful response!

I love Fordays. First of all what they are doing should be highly recognized as a truly good deed for our planet. The clothes are so classy and I wish I could buy everything. I love the quality of their clothing and their customer service is impeccable. I feel really good about being a consumer for this site.

I recently placed an order and realized after the fact that I used the wrong shipping address. I reached out to their customer service and received a quick, courteous response. Pilar was super helpful and fixed my problem ASAP.

I recently reached out to For Days via Instagram in the hopes to share my feedback on the new trashie (closet cash) program. I have been a huge fan of For Days for a few years and love to buy take back bags! I had been saving up for a large item over the last few years and when the change to the closet cash program occurred, I just wanted to be heard and give some feedback on how it impacted me and my use of the program. Their team was really responsive and went above and beyond listen to me and found a creative solution to help me. They also recently announced a change in the program based on feedback, which indicates to me that they care about our customer feedback. Thank you and I plan to continue being dedicated to this brand/program!

Edit: After trying to contact For Days additional times with no response, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I'm done with this company. It's not worth the hassle.
Edit: I have to change my review because of poor customer service. Their return policy allows you to exchange items that have been purchased with Closet Cash which I'd hope considering the customer is spending money to send their used clothing. I purchased a few things on the website that didn't work out due to sizing and was hoping to make an exchange. I inquired customer service about it on December 15th (2023) and they responded once. I gave them the items I needed to exchange and the new size or item I want to exchange for. They never responded. I inquired again 3 days ago and also no response. Such a waste of time. I'm pissed because I spent $60 on the bags, sent them my stuff, bought items on their website that didn't work out and now I'm stuck with more unusable clothes/items.

I was surprised reading the reviews where others complained about the $20 Closet Cash limit per order and having to pay for shipping. When I purchased my Take Back Bag (set of 3, $60), this wasn’t in the terms or policies. When I received the bag and used my Closet Cash, I was able to spend all of it at once and I had a free shipping code; so not sure why it isn’t the case for the other reviewers. Maybe I got lucky?
Anyway, it was totally worth it because I gave away a lot of old fabrics and clothes, and now I have a new top and some useful household stuff from For Days. This was truly a lifesaver because the other donation places are too far from me and it was a fair exchange, IMO. They got my old stuff, I got some new stuff. I truly hope they don’t change this program because I love it and I suggested it to 2 other people. Funny thing was, someone else recommend this to me first and I was super skeptical. It worked out at the end.

Great customer service. I got an immediate response when I emailed about a For Days bag that got lost in the mail. This was not the only item that has been lost on its way to me - that a problem with the mail where I live. For Days sent me a new one right away. I really like being able to recycle clothing and other textiles responsibly.

For Days has a mission to create less waste and when I reached out for their help to complete this mission alongside them, they kindly answered the call and got me set up with their Take Back Bag program. It has been incredibly helpful to have this service as someone working for a donation based organization. I am able to put to use all the clothes that I am unable to put back immediately into the community thanks to them. They were quick to respond to me and very kind in their communication. I enjoy this company and I will be recommending it to others in the future!

This is a marvelous service. I think a lot of reviewers really don't understand the point and mission of this company, which is to repurpose textiles as much as possible to avoid waste ending up in landfills or worse. The same cannot be said of dropping items at a local thrift store. It's very easy and efficient. I'm so glad I found it. The closet cash is a small perk but not the reason or motivation for my "donation".

Love the take back bags. Helpful with clothing returns even though it’s various vendors.

This company is a scam. They advertise in recycle your used clothing for $20 credit for each take back bag. Once I accumulate enough credits, over $200 dollars, I thought that I could use all of my $200 credit on the item I wanted the most, and when I went to buy the item, I found out that I can only use $20 per order and pay $10 in shipping cost. It unfortunately that this company do not tell customers up front that the credit is limited to $20 per order. When I read the the rules of using the trashie cash, it didn’t stay this. They must have just changed it recently. The items so expensive on this website so there isn’t anything decedent for $20. I should’ve done all my homework up front. I will never use it again, and woke rates them zero stars if I could’ve have. I do not advise anyone to use this recycling program for there clothes. They should just donate to Goodwill , give through Buy Nothing Group on Facebook (people give good things away for free) which is amazing buy the way, or have a garage sale. Please don’t use Fordays.com!!!

Well, this was a huge disappointment. The company's premise is that you buy a $20 take back bag (plus shipping) and stuff it with old clothes, rags, textiles and once you return it they give you a $20 closet credit to buy sustainable products. WRONG. The inventory is so over priced and the small print is that you can only apply $20 closet cash per purchase PLUS shipping. So if you buy a $27.00 candle (over priced) and apply $20 closet cash and then tax and shipping ($12.00) total is $19.00. OMG. I can go to Marshall's and get the same candle for $8.00. Also, I'm not entirely convinced that they're keeping all the items out of the landfill as claimed. Not a lot of info about it on their page. I feel bad because I recommended it to friends/family and they're stuck with this ridiculous closet cash they can't use. Oh, and sometimes the QR codes on the take back bags don't scan and you have to lug it back and forth to USPS and stand in line and on and on. Bottom line: don't do it. Tried to do the "right thing" for the planet but instead got nothing but aggravation and feel like all the stuff I sent in got thrown in a landfill or sold at a flea market.
UPDATE: the response from For Days is the SAME template cut-and-paste boilerplate BOT response that I got when I sent an email directly to them. There is no "customer service". Also, their "response" does not resolve the credit cap disappointment that everyone will ultimately have to deal with. seems they just want customers to go to a different site and run into the same problem just with different vendors.

Customer Service was great...But I had to contact them because after over two weeks my product didn't arrive. It's not on For Days. They partner with outside designers and companies, but it was still upsetting that you order something, and there might be the chance that they run out.

I made a mistake in an order and emailed to have it refunded; they too care of it in just a few hours!

I guess this is on me for not scouring through the fine print, but it's pretty crappy to say that you get $20 in closet cash for each Take Back bag ($20 that YOU pay in advance to get the bag, mind you) and then cap you at a maximum of $20 closet cash usage per order. Almost nothing on the site costs less than $20 and you cannot apply the closet cash to the $9 shipping flat fee. I was really excited to find somewhere I could send my fabric recycling since there are no in-person options near me, but I'll be looking elsewhere in the future.

I ordered, filled and sent in a take back bag, I think the bag took kind of a long time to arrive, but they noted that due to demand, they were taking longer to ship so all good there. I ran into some snags trying to order some pants with my closet cash and the order ended up processing without the cash applied to my purchase. I was pretty upset and I was disappointed that there was no process for editing or canceling the sale. I emailed immediately and saw that the estimated response time was 1-2 days.. BUT because I had signed up for texts for a discount, I received a text notification that the item had shipped and was given an option to reply to ask a question, which I did. Then I was messaging directly with Pilar and everything went so smoothly from there. Pilar was super responsive and kept me updated with the status of my inquiry. They were able to issue me a refund for the $20 of closet cash I was applying to my item and I am so excited to receive my pants.
I love the For Days model of fabric recycling and offering discounts on items in their store. Alongside with their own brand, they offer 3rd party items from other sustainably minded and transparent brands, so it’s understandable that there are some idiosyncrasies with order cancellations and shipping from 3rd parties. I couldn’t find a size guide on the For Days website so I ended up going to the brand website for the pants I was ordering (which, due to a sale, were actually cheaper at For Days, and otherwise priced the same) and using the size guide on their site to make sure I was ordering the right size. I’d love to see size guide make it to the site eventually, or even a link to the items chart from their website.
I will definitely be purchasing from For Days again and I’ll be using their text service rather than email if any hiccups occur.

Pretty good. I only use the take-back bags. Their customer service was responsive when I asked about a subscription I accidentally signed up for, and they canceled the subscription as well as the new order I forgot about.
