I wish there was a zero star option. I thought I was going to love For Days but it’s been a nightmare. Please read this before you fall for this scam, too. I bought 3 bags to try it out and tried to use my $60 credit to buy some silicone lids, basically the cheapest thing on the site. The “closet Cash” wouldn’t connect to my account and it took 4 emails and almost a week for that to be resolved. I liked the lids and wanted to buy sets for my kids. I had a lot more to recycle and wanted to take advantage of “free shipping”, so I ordered 6 more bags. I tried to order again but now you can only use $20 credit per order. They’re incredibly overpriced and apparently trying to make money on shipping - $9 to ship 6 silicon lids that cost $20. Beware of the checkout!! It takes several logout/login attempts to connect the credits to the checkout page. It would be super easy to accidentally pay out of pocket - which certainly is by design. Don’t even think about trying to use your closet cash on multiple orders in one day, or even the next day. I’ve had to wait several days and logout dozens of times just to connect the credits. And good luck with customer service. I’ll be glad to be done with this nonsense. If this company was truly carbon conscious, they wouldn’t want to send out so many different trucks. It feels false. Im wondering if they really even recycle this stuff.

Love their take back bags! They are super easy to fill and return and they have cute and useful eco-friendly stuff you can purchase with the rewards you get for getting rid of your old clothes! I’ve also reached out to their customer service once and they were super friendly and quick to resolve my issue(:

I love that I can recycle my cotton quilting scraps, as well as clothing that's too far gone to be donated. I have twice had a problem scanning the bag's QR code, and Pilar has been right there to send a printable label. This company saves me from being a fabric polluter, and thereby eases my conscience!

I've been enjoying recycling fabrics with For Days, and introduced a friend to it now too - we're both filling up bags to send in now! On a whim (and a sale) I ordered a really sumptuous Amour Linen blanket through the For Days site and was disappointed at first as it didn't arrive with the rest of my order. I reached out to customer service to see what happened - and they quickly responded that there'd been a delay from that brand. I hadn't realized that some of the brands on the For Days site were shipping directly, but Pilar in customer service checked with Amour Linen and kept me in the loop until the order arrived--I also had no idea it was coming here all the way from Latvia! While I was initially disappointed in the extra time it took to get here, I love the blanket so much that it was actually worth the wait. I'll order again soon.

Quick, responsive and a positive attitude!

EXCELLENT customer service from Pilar! I needed to exchange an item I ordered from For Days (it wasn't a For Days branded item) and not only was the process seamless where they helped facilitate the exchange with the other brand, but also, when I subsequently noticed a small hole in the new item, Pilar helped issue a refund for the cost of the repair. Everything was super smooth, excellent follow up & follow through and quick responses from start to finish. If this isn't excellent customer service, then I don't know what is.

Edited to 4 stars. As soon as my emails were discovered the problem had been addressed and is in the process of being rectified. I’m very happy that For Days jumped on this as soon as it was brought to their attention.

I purchased a coat and since receiving it have sent 4 emails to the return/exchange email address listed and have received no response. The website states I only have 14 days to make a return or exchange and I’m going on day 11 since my first inquiry. All I want is the same coat in a different size before it sells out. Every phone number listed anywhere for this company is wrong and goes to somewhere else. The customer service at this company is seriously lacking. It’s very unfortunate because I love the idea of being able to recycle my textiles, but it looks like I won’t be able to trust this company anymore unless I get a response.

Customer service was quick to action on my issue both in response and resolution.
I am pleased someone is doing something to reduce waste and address our fashion craving.

Good customer service. The Take Back Bag for recycling clothing is awesome! I love that I can help the environment and also get clothing bucks to use towards my purchase. I loved their original FoR Days clothing brand but the new boutique items are nice. I like it that they are all sustainable brands and not fast cheap fashion that is bad for the environment.

I was placing an order to use my buy back bag points. I wasn't able to figure how to apply the code before the order went through. I contacted them as soon as i placed the order and realized what happened. They took the money off my order and refunded to my account before it shipped . and it was all done online without waiting on the phone.

They advertise on Instagram through influencers they will take fabric scraps when they don’t.

Customer service did end up helping me but it was a bit of a waste of time. I’d be willing to give another chance when they figure out how to recycle fabric waste from home sewers.

So happy I can recycle clothes my family doesn’t wear anymore! Also had a great customer service experience. My bag had ripped and they just sent me a replacement. So thankful for it!

Absolutely loving the strides towards a zero waste initiative here. My wife and I, in the midst of giving our home a decluttering overhaul, stumbled upon Fordays.com. The concept? Simply groundbreaking! We each snagged a take-back bag, parting ways with some old clothes but gaining a neat $20 credit in return. I invested mine in a sleek new black crew neck T-shirt. I love this brand. It is so fun to finally see people doing something that ACTUALLY works. Super easy process, just pack it up and ship it. I get a great benefit from the take back bag. I no longer feel like I am getting taken advantage of when giving up my old clothes. Thank you for all you are doing!
