As usual take the rent straight away from my bank account, rent paid in full every single month, no rent arrears but I basically don't have a kitchen. It was falling apart before I moved in here in May 2021, constantly ringing to complain but I just get ignored, I reported my thermostat being loose on the wall last week and 10 minutes before that reported the safety conditions with the kitchen and the fact that I'm finding dead flys in my food cupboard and cobwebs where my cups are because there isn't any cupboard doors because they've fallen off and there's that many holes from previous repairs they won't repair now. They responded about the thermostat but ignored me about my kitchen complaint.For Housing will do anything to not spend money but take yours whilst you live in poor conditions and ignore you. I rang and complained and still got ignored as nobody followed it up in the 5 days I was told I'd be contacted. They attempted to fit a new kitchen in March, well they say that, but again ignored me, knocked on my door with the plan and said to my Partner you need to sign this, they stood and waited, so he signed for a plan that was irrelevant for our home, specific spaces for a Dish Washer that I don't own and fridge / freezer which neither recite in my kitchen, to rip gas pipes our for my cooker to move to the other side of the room so basicaly I'd have to dispose of my Dining Table don't think so!! They have known for years not to change the plan as it doesn't suit the family and the kitchen isn't big enough anyway. MY Partner doesn't even have rights to sign paperwork as he isn't on the tenancy and this was confirmed in the phone call last week they don't care just want their money and leave you to suffer, absolutely discusting. The gardens are unstable the front garden isn't flat im forever bending my ankle walking up it, so is everybody else, the back garden has holes everywhere in the concrete big and small, I even have to watch my dog outside constantly so he doesn't hurt or trap his foot. They dont care atall this proves it and so does everybody else's reviews, i can't say I've ever read a good one !! For Housing don't respond to this review and ask me to contact you because I'm sick of wasting my time doing so.... Do something about this Now !! Because one way or another I will get compensation for something and it will cost you more than replacing my old crappy kitchen with a new one !!!!

There is No appointment booked for tomorrow for my thermostat it has been rearranged for Friday with me directly contacting Libery last week as I'm working Tues & Weds and have a School appointment Thursday. I expressed in my review that my complaint about the thermostat was acknowledged but the kitchen wasn't.

The garden I have tried to complain about but in response your company says its my problem, I dont see how its my problem when it is the concrete/ tarmac that is damaged before I even moved in to the property, and it's your property not mine!!! the gardens are well maintained, clean and grass cut constantly, no weeds, considering the state of the gardens patio area or external flooring however Im ment to word this. You've basically responded calling me a Liar, i don't think I am

I can see our complaints teams have tried to contact you previously. They advised the kitchen design you requested doesn't meet Forhousing spec. I have sent information over to surveyor teams to try and figure out if there is any alternate solution and will email you with any updates I find.

Thermostat issues. I can see you do have an appointment booked with Liberty gas and they are due to attend tomorrow between the hours of 08.00 and 13.00. Please note appointments can over run in emergencies.

Gardens usually fall under the tenants responsibility to repair and maintain as per you tenancy agreement. However if your main walkway to the property is unsafe we can raise for a repair to make this safe.

I appreciate you have mentioned you don't want to contact us to discuss this further, however we do want to try and resolve this and help, which will require you to get in touch with us.

I was told by a housing officer, that our gardens are public places so I can’t have a pergola in my backyard!!!!!

Careless. No concern for safety. Unrealistic timeframes.

As a tenant which has experienced two major complaints due to fear of safety with ForHousing. I can honestly say this ‘housing provider’ has no care for the safety of its tenants. I was asked to move into a property with an internal door as a front door (not a fire door nor adequately covering the entrance to the property as there were gaps both at the top and bottom of the door) I went to the end of the complaints process and was granted compensation. One year on… my ceilings are collapsing. I live in a ground floor flat with four floors above me. I have lost part of my ceiling in the kitchen and my living room ceiling is currently cracked and sagging. I have reported this as an obvious emergency and was assured THREE times by THREE different members of staff that somebody would ‘definitely’ be out yesterday. 26 hours on and nobody is yet to turn up. My original issue with this atrociously unprofessional ‘housing provider’ was the training of staff- or rather, lack of. Why give unrealistic timeframes? Why lie? I would not recommend living in a home provided by ForHousing to anybody. Disgusting, and frankly embarrassing. As a person who has spent 15+ years in customer service based jobs it’s so sad so see a toxic culture of lack of adequate training for dealing with the public. I now find myself having to do there job yet again.

I’m back again to tell you about…

I’m back again to tell you about ForHousing harassing me and targeting me, I’m being singled out. This is because the neighbour who assaulted allegedly has Nigel Sedmen number on their phone. So, calls him when they want to use him to get their own way on this bloke. On Thursday FH turn up with three large men to check and takeaway items from the communal garden that were stressing this neighbour out. But of course this is untrue, they are doing it because FH are allowing this neighbour to tell them what to do.
I’ve been told my solar lights and mushroom ornaments and flowers are upsetting them
I’ve now been told I can no longer plant any flowers in the communal garden, which were is important for my mental health, but FH are protecting this neighbour instead.
FH are a bunch of bullies helping a vile human to bully me. It’s disgusting the way I’m being treated, because FH don’t have the balls to tell them to keep their nose out, they live on the other side of the garden on the top floor where they can’t even see the flowers or solar lights.
FH you should be ashamed of yourselves nothing but bullies for the bully.

Protecting a supergrass.

well, where do I start? I have been with ForHousing for 4 years, and in those 4 years, I have been bullied and attacked by two neighbours on the block of flats where I live. I was physically attacked by both of them.
they didn't even have a tenancy strike.
yet I am being told it breaches my tenancy plating flowers on the communal garden.
the main neighbour user ForHousing to bully me, she is obsessed with getting us out of our flat. I have meeting after meeting telling the housing this. We all think she a supergrass, so they always let her get away with her disgusting behaviour.
Anyone else having this happen?

Radiator pipe leak

Radiator pipe leak under floor boards damaging ceiling /first heating engineer came out said it’s not his dept did a temporary repair which left us with no heating then a plumber came out said it was a heating engineer job so passed back to them been waiting 3 days for them to come back out still no one even tho we have been told they are coming even if it’s out of hours lost 3 days pay going into the forth day day now still no one shown up

Stockbridge village, 8 people without communal lights

Useless

Useless. Housing officer Lisa Walker from Ellesmere Port is a good example of the incompetence ripe in this housing association. Their mission statement is very impressive it's just a pity they don't actually achieve any of what they claim they aspire to. Residents lives are blighted by poor repair, poor conditions, no support with tenancy problems. Avoid if you can or be prepared to have the quality of your life and your physical and mental health ruined.

I have been in contact with the area housing officer and others in Forhousing repeatedly over the last month, as have my neighbours who have made the same complaints. NOTHING has been done. Our housing officer seems to make it up as she goes along. Forhousing have had more than enough opportunity to address these problems so replying to my review and asking me to get in touch is yet another example of Forhousing,'Lip Service ' policy which looks great but means nothing.

Another one star to add to the collection. Wow as an organisation you must be so proud. This is really just for starters as I will be bailing and shaming across all social media platforms. Paul Dennett mayor of Salford , Nigel Seddon and Liz Holland , Leon Bright just to name a few who are right at the top of the leadership team leading this s*** show of an organisation. This review is about the living conditions my parents are currently enduring .. my parents who are both turned 70 who have been sleeping on a sofa for three months , my father who has COPD cannot sleep in their bedroom because the damp and mould is so bad. Due to the recent airtime that this issue has had in the news across various organisations I cannot believe that this has been ignored . My parents have had to pay for an independent surveyors report which states the property is not fit to live in , along with several medical reports from my fathers doctor .. what needs to happen in all seriousness for these problems to be dealt with. Unbelievable.

Worst housing association ever!!

Worst housing association ever!!! Avoid at all costs if you can!!! ForHousing, their contractors and their complaints procedure is not fit for purpose!!!
Next month will mark 10yrs since i first reported damp & mould (when we moved in) & i STILL have damp & mould in my home.
Mine & my children's health have been severely affected; no-one has died yet but when someone does maybe then things will finally change...although i doubt even that will make a difference.
They make promises they don't keep, fob you off continously, lie through their teeth & try to pass blame onto the tenant.
They don't care about their tenants health & well being at all; they just care about money, costs & trying to shut people up.
Horrible organisation!!!

Lies constantly..kitchen falling apart wasn't sorted for when she moved in and there was mould all over when we went to decorate! Kitchen needed completely plastered and more units instead they feel it's acceptable to plaster a little bit of either walls, even though they were there all day the workers laughable!

Please do not put your elderly parents /grandparents with this housing they have no respect for the elderly.

Constantly lying I'm back and forth 🤬 this company needs to be taken out of action before they kill someone.

Lucky I have every email and I have contacted the MP...funny as a mould company wanted to take the case on but we didn't want the fact of money we want the work done! Vile they are!!!! So mad why is my mum paying ren

Vile company

Vile company, don’t even bother to respond with ‘please get in touch with your name’, because your whole neighbourhoods team is aware of who I am and what you have caused, the housing ombudsman are on to you and so are Environmental Health.

I understand forhousing can not help the situation of housing/not being allowed a house as my partner is a single male, but the way they have treated him is absolutely disgusting.

Because he is a single male, his only option is a highrise flat. Since he moved in about three years ago, he has had upwards of 15 leaks. Admittedly some of the leaks have been caused by tenants above, but some have come from Liberty/Forhousing’s water mains, pipes etc.

They left my partner for months with a massive leak over his toilet so he had no access to his toilet. Abi Winstanley basically called him a liar and said its not bad its a minor leak. It took months for them to fix the leak, when it was fixed, Abi Winstanley suddenly changed her attitude and apologised for the SUBSTANTIAL leak my partner had and admitted he should of been moved.

We are now in August (leak started around October last year), and the repairs have still not been done. He has mouldy boxing in and all his walls and wood have rotted. They think its ok for him to live like this though because its now dry mould so it wont kill him, still cant decorate though and living with dried mould.

Following this, he has now had further leaks over a weekend where forhousing refused to break the door down of a tenant who was causing a flood. They think it’s acceptable to leave him from Friday night to Tuesday morning with physical rain pouring into his flat, and apparently this is their guidelines? But if someone has a fire risk, they can gain access within 5 hours, but not for a MASSIVE leak pouring dog poo and dog wee I must add, its inhumane having poo and wee poured over your head for five days!

Lauren Hill from the complaints team and Michele The new HO are the only people who work at this company who have an ounce of common courtesy. Lauren has tried all she can to get these jobs complete as they have agreed fault, but they couldn’t organise a p*ss up in a brewery.

I’d seriously rather be homeless than pay rent to these thieves, you dont have a safe dry place to live so you may aswell live on the dirty wet street.

They wont provide any re assurance that they will gain access in a more reasonable amount of time than five days, so how are you even supposed to decorate when they are telling you if someone has a massive leak, they will refuse to kick their door in to stop it.

Also, bare in mind in the highrise you are FORCED to pay gas to them, forhousing are your energy provider. The current gas rate is 20p per kwh. I live in a house with my parents on normal gas(scottish power) and we are only charged 12p per kwh, they want everyone in these highrises to suffer.

DO NOT TAKE A HIGHRISE WITH THESE CON MEN YOU’D BE BETTER OF HOMELESS!

House repairs

I have an ongoing issue for the past three years now with the housing. They came took off the kitchen cabinets doors and drawers, never came back to fix them they are still open. Tried to call them thousands times and nothing was done, they will just lie. I pay my rent without fail. At some point someone came to see the problems l have been reporting and he said everything was OK. I wish l could upload the pictures here, he was just racist and looked at me like a piece of shirt.

The most selfish, rude and careless!!!!!!
I’ve been complaining about a damp wall since 2021 when they did my kitchen and I’ve been calling SO MANY TIMES about this and every time that I call they pretend not to know the situation. I made so many complaints about this and NOTHING!!!!!!! They tell me that they going to send someone to fix and is always someone to take photos. They sent a letter saying they are sorry for this and they sent a £100! Are you serious?????
My neighbour smokes weed EVERYDAY, ALL THE TIME and I called complaining that every time that my neighbour smokes, all the smell comes up to my house and I have a 4 year old daughter that breaths this smell. The lady on the phone told me to fill a dairy of 10 days so they can start investigating this situation. I can’t wait 10 days!!!!!! I moved temporarily to my friends house so that my daughter could be protected from this! They don’t care about us! What a shame!!

Was ignored and fobbed off and…

Was ignored and fobbed off and basically miss informed regarding damp and mould for 5 years. I've got children in the house .I contacted someone who could help me and got the ball rolling .my complaint is at the highest stage .But now when I ring I'm met with awful attitudes that try to talk over you ,I believe it's some sort of tactics to make me react but it won't work .

Record and gather evidence take pictures of everything. Do all communication via email as evidence.

Most incompetent Housing Association ever

This is the most incompetent bunch of cowboys I've ever had the gross misfortune to have to deal with!!!!
From damp that they couldn't find the cause of because they didn't look properly its not a broken waste pipe honesty its your dogs breathing in the kitchen (yes their answer was that), a roof with no insulation, kitchen falling apart then bodged up with different coloured doors that then wasn't properly fitted to a brand new boiler fitted in a child's bedroom with a gas leak!!!! Best of it is even tho the emergency gas people diagnosed the problem and condemned the gas system the " Forhousing/ Liberty manager" blamed our new cooker
Then to top it all off they even try to charge you rent after you buy the house to get away from them
You honestly couldn't write the rubbish this lot come out with no one would believe the issues we've had with them, the above just being tip of the iceberg and they like to tell untruths like they called at certain times oh must have forgotten about the cctv we have that never saw them!!
However I did come across one person in the whole mess that is Forhousing that went above and beyond to get stuff done Anne Tonkinson should run the place she is probably the only genuine staff member there

lied to at first then sorted out..

Was lied to at first as no one had come out and emergencies hadn't been taken note of then got Marie (One of the advisors) on the phone and she helped out perfectly speaking to my mum and made the experience better getting down the issues and having some done within the same day

I have been lied to and told and…

I have been lied to and told and engineer would be out today after having no heating for 3 days and no one turned up.
