When there was an issue with the size after it was fitted we were advised it needed to be redone. They gave our one the utmost priority and ensured it was done as soon as possible and kept us informed throughout. Overall a positive experience and would reccomend and our new door looks lovely and is of very good quality.

A job that lasts 20 weeks can hardly…
A job that lasts 20 weeks can hardly get my praise and significantly, there was a total lack of communication from Shoz.
A conservatory roof lantern was ordered on the 10th Oct '25, surveyed next day with a potential installation for the 1st - 2nd week of Nov. Installation finally took place on the 15th Dec. However the sizing of the lantern was incorrect - it was still fitted and as a consequence of rain the next day, water leaked in spoiling part of the ceiling plasterboard. A tarpaulin now covered the sky light during all those winter storms that we had. The saga continued though Jan.'26 - surveyed on the 30th and another survey on the 26th Feb. with continuing requests for updates.
A replacement lantern was ordered on or around the 10th March and installed on the 30th March. The tarpaulin was finally removed.
This whole mess where we had to constantly chase Shoz resulting in two official complaints, one under the Consumer Rights Act 1974 and they also just averted a Visa Section 75 Chargeback. We feel we had a lucky escape as we kept a record of all calls and emails and paid on our Visa card.

When the leak was reported, we attended within hours (1-3hrs) to make the area safe and watertight.
Due to the severe and ongoing storms at the time, the only viable short-term solution was to secure the roof with a tarpaulin until weather conditions allowed for a safe and proper installation.
This situation was caused by a combination of a survey error and a manufacturing issue with the lantern itself. During this period, we were also dealing with the very unfortunate passing of a member of our team. While these were highly unusual and challenging circumstances, we still took full responsibility for resolving the matter.
We carried out multiple site visits and worked closely with the manufacturer to ensure the issue was correctly identified and would not be repeated.
The replacement lantern was then installed as soon as weather conditions allowed us to do so safely and to the correct standard.
We take our reputation seriously. While mistakes can occur in any project, what defines a business is how those mistakes are handled.
In this case, the issue was fully resolved—you now have a new replacement lantern installed, and we honoured your £500 compensation request. This demonstrates that we are a genuine and responsible company that supports our customers through issues and ensures they are resolved.
That said, we do acknowledge that communication could have been better at times, and we are taking steps to improve this going forward.

⭐ Great Service From Start to Finish
The team were incredibly patient and helpful throughout the whole process. I even accidentally missed an appointment after getting the date wrong, but they were very understanding and happily rearranged it without any hassle.
One thing I really appreciated was that they were not pushy at all and never tried to pressure me into buying anything, which made the experience feel very comfortable and honest.
Their prices are the best I found in Poole, and they also offer payment plans which makes it much easier if you can’t pay everything at once.
I’ll definitely be coming back to have my two bay windows done next. Highly recommend their service!

Flat roof
We have spent a lot of money with this company and previously we were very happy with their work. They did our flat roof and they admitted that they needed to re structure as the water was not flowing away. After several phone calls and emails they have ignored and not returned. Took the money ok.
