We are the national voice of residents’ associations and are frequently consulted by government. Our leasehold advisory services are free to members, who pay an annual subscription fee. The Federation of Private Residents’ Associations (FPRA) is an independent organisation. It does not endorse or recommend any products, service providers or companies. The FPRA is able to offer its members specialist legal, insurance, management and building guidance. We represent and understand the interests of leaseholders seeking to set up a tenants’ association, existing tenants associations (recognised or not) and resident management companies. We publish a quarterly newsletter for members, as well as information guides and booklets, and keep members informed about current issues and events affecting leaseholders.

Excellent advice. the only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the slow initial response. Sometimes that can be important, I think. However, it is a sign of the times post pandemic, I guess, and when it came , further responses were speedy and most helpful.

Extraordinary value from FPRA
We joined FPRA to access the support offered via the body of industry experts who act with FPRA as honorary consultants.
We are a recognised Leaseholders Association.
Our questions centred on what seems to us like unfair charges from an incompetent managing agent.
The advice we received was expert, clear and comprehensive and would have cost us many multiples of our annual subscription had we received it from a firm of solicitors.
We could not have made a better investment than joining FPRA.

Flat wars
I sought legal advice from FPRA for a complicated situation in which various leaseholders were in dispute with our freeholder whose cavalier approach to difficult issues was causing considerable upset and distress. I received clear, balanced and impartial advice from one of their consultants which already is proving extremely useful in the task of restoring peace and tranquillity on our estate. Very grateful indeed for the help.

An Excellent Resource
As a relative newcomer to property management, I have been very pleased with the assistance I have received from FPRA. They have provided relevant, practical and prompt information and advice on a number of questions I have raised on a range of topics and the admin team are very friendly and helpful.
