What utter amazing service I have received from Franchi's Locksmith on Holloway Rd London. I have been using this place for years! I always receive excellent advice/service whenever I pop in with my thirty year-old keys asking for replacements. Despite the state of my rotten old keys they always manage to replace them and at a reasonable price too. This is the main reason I always choose Franchi, you know that you are never going to be scammed or cheated but they will always do things properly. There was a recent piece on This Morning television programme, warning of cheap emergency lock replacements, if it 'sounds too good to be true" it probably is, I always feel that I can trust THIS company. I have had to call them out a couple of times for a free assessment, both tradesmen could not have been more helpful and friendly- Andy and another man, not sure of his name (in his previous job he had his tools stolen from his van!). Andy, the carpenter, suggested I have the warped door re-hung rather than an expensive new lock, I was completely unaware of this service! It was very simple to quickly arrange both free appointments and I received outstanding customer service from Michael who rang me personally. Iveta is also amazing and responds to my emails promptly. The fact that they treat their employees well, by closing the shop on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, just shows what a considerate company they are. They could be greedy and open all hours but instead they are just decent, a rare attribute in today's society! What a lovely company, 100% satisfied!

Very helpful, respectful and jolly people, so go there when you are feeling tired or under the weather, or have no idea about what door fixtures are. I had no interest in going in to buy door locks, but was quite taken aback by their service, so left feeling quite pleased with my training and purchases.

Excellent service from Franchi. I have an ex-council flat with a multi lock point system which was non functioning due to age and wear. A replacement was extremely difficult to obtain but I managed to get a near match which the engineer worked to make it fit and function. Thanks all.

Sam and Joe on the tools desk at Franchi's were SO HELPFUL! They went above and beyond to find me a tiny part to fix my busted doorhandle which saved me from having to buy a whole new double handle set. Thank you Sam and Joe!!!

Can highly recommend this company Andy came around same day and replaced our locks he was careful with the paintwork and did a brilliant job .

Efficient service on the phone
We required two new locks for our front door. One had not been used for years and was tricky to re-install requiring two visits. Andy was brilliant, so skilled and careful and cleared all the mess up
He was also so helpful and friendly and was able to explain things well

We had a door installed by Franchi. The door itseld is a good quality solid door. We initially had good experinece. However, they didn't install the bottom of the door correclty and we have been chasing them to fix it for several months! The door was installed in September and it is now almost July. Also we paid for house numbers to match the door ironmongary. However, the wrong color and size were brought in. We agreed to not install them and have been waiting for months for the refund. The big mistake we made is to pay for the door on the installation day and trust them to deliver. Undfortunately it has not been the case.

Popped into Franchi and was looked after amazingly by Joe. All the right specialist drill bits supplied!

Excellent service from Michael at the key cutting counter. Fitted a new tail bar for free for a lock I bought a number of years ago. Highly recommend.

Good straight honest professional advice and service 13+ year old front door lock mechanism all good and fitted back in place after some struggle especially with these locks and working as it should, unlike the so called professional locksmith that very late evening when there was a problem saying that it needed replacing which wasn't the case locksmith wasn't interested in doing a proper assessment with the front door lock mechanism only interested in one thing a new front door lock. All I can say is don't assume, now that I know lesson learned. Franchi thanks for your help much appreciated.......

Michael from the workshop fixed a lock for me that I thought I’d need to replace. So kind, refused payment . Such a good start to the day. I always have great experiences with this shop. Old school, knowledgeable and always go out of their way to be helpful.

Been going to Franchi's for many years, my parents also used to use them, went there today with a very difficult problem in need of emergency specialist help, which Michael took care brilliantly, really saved the day. The prices here are far too low for the quality of work they provide.

On visiting this delightful hardware store today I was overcome with something I can only recall as youthful joy, you see I normally deal with a sprightly young fellow called Jack, he’s always very helpful and knowledgeable and I have enjoyed his service and bonhomie, but today something happened, from the staircase of secrets where items of stock are produced as if by magic, from that staircase stepped Jo, I stumbled to talk her beauty froze me dumb and I could not place my order, time stood still and the blossom on the trees continued to fall,Jo waited to enquire what I needed but I couldn’t speak, she told Jack to deal with the eejit at the counter and swooped upstairs, Jack served me but I was in a Tizz, The eejit Jo was referring to was me
I fear my relationship with Jack is over as Jo has at least mentioned me, I will definitely be back to this store but Jack is history
