What a fantastic company! The whole experience from initial contact to our return from a great holiday was superb. We had just under four weeks in New Zealand, and all the arrangements went like clockwork. Megan’s recommendations on the sights to see and trips to take were spot on, and Jackie’s help when the Gulf conflict affected our return was superb.

From the initial first conversation on our proposed holiday James seemed to understand the level and expectations of our trip. Choosing good locations and tailoring the mileage to suit. Then further tweaked our requirements to include a change to the normal type trip. This was then supplied in a detail itinerary for us to check. Very reassuring and professional

The one thing you want from a travel agent is to help you out when there is a problem - unfortunately Jackie and the admin team at Freedom - and their local representatives in Australia - didn't help at all. This meant I received terrible service even though I spent a large amount of money on my holiday. Very disappointing. Really think twice about using Freedom. Book direct or use another travel agent. PS: Responding to Freedom Destinations response below - I had to send numerous e-mails and communications to get any meaningful response from Freedom - and it took more than six weeks of this pushing and a huge amount of my time to get any sort of resolution. Issues could have been resolved with a simple phone call to a supplier they organised - which was just not forthcoming. Just to re-iterate Freedom were not proactive, helpful and provided dire customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.

I dealt with Kate, and despite just wanting a camper hire only (no flights or hotels), she was really helpful and quick to supply all the information. The price was very competitive, so I booked with them.
