Honest review is here.I had a contract for 2 years. After an year they call me and said there is extra data „without cost“ and without my notice they activated some features which I never used so far. I believed that there is no cost involved hence accepted offer. I never looking into bookings from my account and also portal . When noticed it was almost late. Within 3 months before one must recall!!! Who new they activated some stupid feature and they are charging the same!!!
Beware before going for Freenet!!!

Freenet is best. Provides unlimited data with enough speed, no contractual agreement necessary, in less price offering, satisfied with the service so far. I hope it would be the same and permanent from freenet
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Freenet's services, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I initially requested a prepaid SIM card, which was the start of my problems. The card never worked properly, and it was a constant struggle to get any assistance.
To make matters worse, they asked me to pay additional fees to load balance, which I reluctantly did, hoping it would resolve the issue. However, despite my efforts and payments, the SIM card still didn't work as promised.
The real kicker came after a month when I received an unexpected invoice for monthly automated payments, something that was never mentioned or discussed when I signed up for their services. I reached out to their customer service in sheer frustration, only to be met with complete indifference and rudeness. They even had the audacity to hang up on me during our conversation.
As if this wasn't enough, Freenet had the nerve to charge me a 10% late fee on top of everything else. This company's practices are nothing short of a scam, and I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from them. They are not only incompetent but also incredibly rude and deceitful. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable and ethical service provider.
Only because I m not German, they wanted 400 euro deposit for a phone with contract. Deplorable!

Unfortunately I had bad experience with them. First of all they are annoyingly calling you offering you "free" services. But in reality in a month you start paying for some uneccery stuff you never use.

I tried several providers and this by far is the best in regards to rates and phone offers.

Homepage gave me an error permanently, stating they're having tech issues. They won't even answer this simple question what's going wrong with their homepage, without customer number, which I couldn't access right then. So not helpful .

I only have a prepay contract as I’m only few month in Germany. I moved from Blau.de to freenet as I have many team calls when I’m traveling. The freenet is even worse than Blau.de. Many times my team call are interrupted due to poor network coverage.Anyway working mostly in Asia I’m not surprised that the network is poor and the fees are very high. Feels like a 3rd world country in terms of technology in Germany. I apologize for my harsh comments.

I have a new mobile contract with freenet staring 22nd June 2023. I had my earlier contract with Vodafone till then. I have done the new freenet mobile contract from Saturn, Frankfurt. They have asked me to come to Saturn between 10th and 22nd June 2023 so that they can apply for porting my current number in the system. I have gone to Saturn on 12th June 2023 and they have ordered in the system to port my current number. I have got the order confirmation from freenet through email on the same day. I have received the confirmation from freenet that freenet has taken over my mobile number from Vodafone on 15th June 2023.
As advised by freenet sales representatives at Saturn and also confirmed thru email from freenet, I have put my freenet SIM in my mobile on 22nd June 2023 and my new freenet contract started running on the same day.
I have received an invoice from freenet where I have been charged 14,1143 EUR for the period from 10th to 22nd June which is not right and I have paid to Vodafone for the same period. I have taken it up with the customer service. But they are not able to resolve the issue.

Worst thieves ever. Firstly, I was charged for two services that I did not activate nor have any record of receiving.someone called me from freenet and I was not able to communicate in German, and although I did not understand what the sales people said, I responded with "alles klar" which, for me, means "I see what you meant" and not "okay" so they charged me over 14 month for this 2 pricy services. Secondly, I have consistently paid more than the agreed-upon amount of 49 euros for various reasons that the l company has made up.

freenet which using Vodafone's netz, and I trusted Vodafone. I read the reviews before making a contract people saying vodafone is the 2nd best internet speed in Berlin. Never ever!! No 4 Freenet no 4 Vodafone!! Same as the internet for the home, I suggest you stay away from contracts even though it is cheaper and/or offer you an iphone14 etc. ... That will put you in a prison. will shorten your life with stress and headaches and huge anger all the time. Doesn't worth it. I'd rather pay for the best next time. I wish they could cancel it without asking me money for receiving sh*ty service.

They are scam. total scam. They charging me extra for some cloud services that I didn’t ask for. They tricked me. They charged me extra for forgetting pin, puk etc a lot. On the other hand I am using O2 and o2 is such a relief.
Their customer service wrote me this Today „ we ask for your understanding that we offer our customer service in German language only.
You can send your inquiries in German to (mail address) Please let us know your customer data.“
I mean what is this joke.
