I approached Pete for a quote when I needed my mother-in-law's sheltered accommodation cleared in Newbury from start to finish Pete was very helpful very reasonable with the pricing as I live in Bexhill on the day of the move Pete and his assistance Joe were on time they were both very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them they cleared the flat in very good time and with a very helpful and supportive manner I would highly recommend Friendly Pete's Transport services and if ever I needed a removal firm it would be him that I would use. Thanks to you and Joe for making this not easy event a positive experience keep up the good work

Pete is very helpful, friendly and professional, making what can be quite a stressful time much easier and hassle-free. My stuff was moved very carefully and efficiently but the best thing was Pete's willingness to be incredibly flexible and responsive when all plans changed due to lockdowns, it really helped me out!

Pete and Jo helped me move in on Monday 15 March 2021. They turned up on time was friendly and kept me informed the whole journey. We had a good day and the timing was perfect to pick up new keys stress free the whole way through. Nothing was to much trouble. I would rate more stars for them if it was available. Excellent service. Will definitely use this company again...have used Pete and co a few times and always been polite, friendly, hard working, sociable, helpful and fair. Travelled a fair distance with lorry of our belongings all strapped and secured, on arrival he was good enough to open the back and said "no movement". Absolutely fantastic, nothing damaged everything was safe and sound. Brilliant team. Great guys. Definitely using them again.

Pete helped us move today. He arrived early and was efficient, happy and positive. We had a piano that was awkward but he came up with a solution to get it where we wanted. Very happy with the day.

As the name suggests Friendly Pete is very friendly and easy to deal with. Not just that, he's also thoroughly professional and a sensible price. He goes the extra mile compared to others that wouldn't take the legs off tables or disassemble beds but Pete and his team will. We've already recommended him to several people.

I could not fault the well named Friendly Pete for the flat clearance they did for me. A price was agreed on and when the job took twice as long as estimated. Pete honoured his estimate. He and Archie are hard works.

As a serious book collector with a large library, I am not an easy customer and me moving is not an easy, even stressful affair.
I have moved way too often in my life and encountered all kinds of movers from one-man operations to international corporations. As is to be expected, some were good and others ... not so.

Pete stands out.
In a good way.
Friendly? Yes, he is that.
But he is so much more (add 'very' to each of these attributes): Reliable, punctual, fair in his prices, hard-working, careful with other people's belongings, experienced - and always friendly and cheerful.
He and Archie did a fabulous job on very short notice, difficult circumstances and to my fullest satisfaction.

Our Job was a to collect (and dismantle) a children's climbing frame from Swanley then deliver to us in Bexhill-on-Sea. It felt nothing was too much to ask, Pete was very patient and helpful in a situation that didn't go quite to plan but this calmness transcended and job completed professionally.
Will be recommending and using for all our future removal and transportation needs 👍😁

We used Pete to help with a house clearance, this was a sensitive and emotional time for us and Pete made the whole experience easier. He communicated with us well, arrived in plenty of time and was so helpful, polite and trust worthy. I would definitely highly recommend him!

Don't bother looking anywhere else because this is the service to use. Pete was on time and was a consummate professional. Furniture was secured and packed really well, and the service supplied was second to none. All in all this service took away one of the headaches of moving, and replaced it with a friendly crew who knew what they were doing and did it well.

Pete and Archie did a great job with our removal from Bexhill to Chard. They took great care, were very professional and go out of there way to help, i would strongly recommend them to anybody thinking of moving.
