I’ve used FriendlyPeter twice now and will use him again & again. He’s certainly friendly! And he’s very professional! And price is good value. What more coujd you want? I highly recommend!!!

Pete and Archie helped us move out of our house today and wow what a great team! Fantastic! So so so helpful and very careful with a lot of delicate pictures too! Thank you so much for all your help. Would highly recommend Pete to anyone needing a gentleman with a van! Thank you!

Pete did a move for us today from Eastbourne to Haslemere. As the name says he was friendly and an absolute gentleman. He moved the furniture with great care and attention to detail and all at short notice. As for the negative review I cannot image any of that being the case with the great level service we had today. Take care Pete and all the best. Mark.

From the first contact until the end Pete and his team were superb. I cannot fault them for anything. The 1 bad review is absolute rubbish. Pete is NOT a bully, he is a gentleman. I would recommend their services to anyone, old or young, as you are in safe hands with Pete and team. I would certainly use them for a future house.

Really nice, friendly man. Very helpful and punctual. Made our moving experience much easier. And the price is great too. Would definitely recommend and make Pete the go to guy.

Unfortunately had dealings with ‘Friendly Pete’ whilst on a house move, made an already stress full experience worse as it’s all about the price it seems, not the service, massive bully boy, intimidating and un professional. Never leave reviews but happy to go through the steps to give honest feedback to save anyone else going through what we have today

I'd like to echo everyone on here, Pete was absolutely fantastic from the get go. He responded straight away to my questions and was very reasonable in his pricing.

He was patient and accommodating when there were a few extra items that needed to fit in the back of his van...and my belongings (consisting of large, heavy, fragile furniture and lots of books!) were professionally packed away (he is magic, I don't know how they all fit) and very well looked after in the removal, transit and unpacking.

Thank you both, I will refer you to friends in the future and be a returning customer next time we need to move :)

Peter from first email to endless calls checking everything was so friendly and help full. Also great prices for removals. Turned up time introduced him self and the young man who was with him. Fantastic service highly recommended

If there are super heroes of East Sussex then these guys are them. I booked Friendly Pete's Transport for my mutual exchange. They were unbelievably patient in a really stressful situation. I agree with another customer on here that if I could leave 6 stars, I would! Pete lives up to his name and was so friendly, helpful and kind during my recent move which I did on my own – he helped put me at ease and I knew I was in safe hands. He dealt with a lot of stairs, loads of books and traffic with patience and took it all in his stride, insisting that I didn't do too much. All for a really competitive price. Thanks so much again Pete for your care and attention – would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone and everyone who needs anything moving.

Well, what can I say!
Pete and Jay have been fundamental in the closing down of Helenswood Upper school on the Ridge and the combined creation of Ark Alexandra on both Campus sites.
In July and August, Pete and Jay worked with a small team of contractors from the Workspeople, in the hottest weeks in the year, with no lift and 130 years worth of school history to move, and four pianos!
With their phenomenal willpower, strength and determination their work ethic is beyond anything I have seen in years! Refusing to stop for lunch on some days, just because they were on "a roll and rhythm" to finish that days tasks.
Guys, as the Operations Manager of this project I can honestly say - ARK - nor I, could not have done this with anyone else and definitely not any better than you.
You took on a mammoth job, every cupboard and storeroom presented a whole load of stuff you had not quoted for, and which you just motored on through with a smile and a nervous laugh. You went above and beyond your contract, that shows true skill and motivation, your leadership of the contractors (Rik, Rick and Archie) along with Jay is testament to your "friendly" professional personality.
Whatsmore, is we finished our contractual obligations on time and handed the keys back on the 30th August, as planned. You helped me do that, by making it happen.
Plus, you have supported the community with generating a bright new school for local children at William Parker and Helenswood Lower. That, I think was your driving force!

To all those customers out there who might take a second look at "Friendly Pete", you will regret it, these fellas are the real deal. A dying breed of worker and generally charming delightful workmen. In my opinion, you will not meet a harder working team. Real passion and belief in Customer Satisfaction.

I used Pete’s removal services a few weeks back and was highly impressed.
He was very quick with communications and gave me an excellent quote. On the day of removals there was more furniture than anticipated but Pete wasn’t phased at all. He only charged me a little bit extra for an hours overtime.
Pete is very professional and made the move a smooth transition. I would 100% recommend and I will be using his services again in the future.

Wow, what a find! Really good price and he was the most helpful guy imaginable. The van was really clean and he was very careful with the contents, covering them up and tying them down.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with his services and would certainly highly recommend this company to everybody.

Wish there were more than 5* that I could give Pete and his services! The move that I was stressing about was actually really easy and smooth and all thanks to Pete - he helped me with the move and was a great company on the journey! I'd use Pete's services over and over again so I highly recommend you do the same!

Pete has helped me twice now once with a collection/delivery of a sofa and the second time was helping me move house. Pete and his colleague were amazing, got everything loaded, transported and unloaded quickly and without any issue or hassle. Very good price, would highly recommend and will definitely use again.
