Frustration made worse by no means of speaking with Frontier staff.

After amending details online, and receiving amended quote (which I think was paid with default card on your system)... and then HOURS of confusion... I discovered that the amended quote was only for a few hours until expiry at midnight tonight (30 pence)! Even though all amended details were shown on the policy expiring today, NONE of them were shown on the renewal for the policy starting 17.07.2026. I had to start all over again. The worst aspect of all this was that I was unable to speak with anyone to try and even understand what the issues were, let alone resolve them.

Good - for an online policy (I miss people though!)

The site was generally good and straightforward. Trying to tie ddown details to reach a final premium took a while using the chat facility and then going back to the quote. It would have been easier, less time consuming and less stressful to talk to someone.

Premium is now difficult to afford as I am living off a pension and increases in the cost of everything - including insurance - far exceeds the increase in my pension. The policy however seems to be good (although I've not had cause to claim to date)

I liked being sent a renewal invitation well in advance. I lost the letter but your Help Service quickly reminded me of the contents.
Although the quote was not the cheapest, I preferred the clear and comprehensive way that Frontier Home Insurance presented what's covered and what's not.

Poor response to web chat

I had got a quote via a comparison site and wanted to check that their quote was based on my house's non standard construction and flat roof. I was shown to be no.1 in the queue with around a 4 min wait. 10 mins later still no response! If that's how they deal with new business, it doesn't hold out much hope for ease of contact with them. I will be looking elsewhere for my insurance.
