Good bank with Excellent Customer Service

Excellent Customer Service, doing really great for a startup bank. Only thing missing is Apple Pay feature and bank statement feature. Overall, a good bank and there’s more room for improvement.

So far so good!

Great to see a fintech based in the north!

Clean app that seems to be regularly updated. Great card design that can be added to Google Pay.

Would like to see notifications and biometric login enabled, hopefully these are being worked on...

Easy to use app and great customer service!

I've been using the Frost app for a couple of months now. The app itself is incredibly visually appealing, with a clean and fresh look, that's pretty straight forward to navigate.

When I was initially setting up my Frost account, I had a couple of verification issues. However, the Frost customer service team was on hand to help, which they did - swiftly and efficiently. They were incredibly friendly and helped me solve my issues and start making the most of the app!

Awful support

An in app chat is awful, replies were quick but it was more of a copy and paste kind of chat, didn’t get the help I needed and it felt like I spoke to a bot. They will probably do the same when they reply to my review - copy and paste some automatically generated useless answer.
Do not recommend.

I’m closing my account after I receive…

I’m closing my account after I receive my money . You left me stranded with a two year old after sending money to account I have used countless of times . Y’all need to get weekend workers because this is not it .

Declined me an account because of…

Declined me an account because of previous CIFAS from three years ago, really wanted to use a frost account but they're not letting me.

My account has been frozen

My account has been frozen , waiting for tranfer to still arrive in account dont know, if they will return the funds to the account it came from . Also asking for i.d and statement with adress. Still havent got a reply...
Cpmmunication is poor, still struggling to get funds or answer..

Unreliable and untrustworthy

They weren't happy with my transactions and so froze my rent payment for 3 days and then closed my account.

Be wary, they want you to deposit money and then spend it how they choose.

No weekend customer service so if their system flags something "suspicious" you'll have no access for a few days.

Good luck if you use them.

In this particular case, the account holder got access to the funds and sent it outbound so would have been able to pay any bills, if that's what the transaction was for.
As per our Account Terms, we closed the account with the appropriate notice.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!

I was asked to send ID to confirm my identity on a Friday. I didn’t have a bank statement so called my bank to send it by post but before I even received that they suspended my account. I didn’t once deny to send ID. They then charged me £15 account closure fee when i didn’t even ask for my account to be closed. That is absolutely taking the p. I want my £15 back!! Why tf did you close my account YOURSELF you impatient a***oles and then charge ME an account closure fee? Are you right in the head?

I have used the Frost card several times during my holidays, and I have found it to be very easy to use. The card is widely accepted at most places, which is convenient. The app is fantastic - it's easy to use and allows you to monitor your spending. When I transfer money into my account, it's visible in my account within a short time. I highly recommend using this card, especially if you are planning to control your finances and track your expenses.
