Utter scum

Utter scum, con men and robbers. Sneak cameras onto new sites, without making it obvious to customers. Then fine them and despite being provided overwhelming evidence from the customers, refuse any appeal and just uphold the fine. Basically a bunch of criminals.

PCN ref. not recognised

Internet payment portal says it can't find the PCN ref. number so I thought that Wickes had successfully cancelled it for me after I'd spoken with & emailed a Manager about a 10 minute overstay. However, the QR code & automated 'phone method indicate £60 is currently payable. The appeals website also cannot find the PCN. G24 issued the PCN 49 days after the event. I'm registered keeper & wasn't the driver at the time (was passenger) & from reading other reviews it's likely G24 will still pursue me / not re-issue even if I managed to let them know [by writing]. Also sounds like they'll send demands even if I paid in next few days & subsequently furnish them with proof. I think staying away from Wickes in future will be the takeaway lesson from this.

Bunch of criminals!!!!!

Received a fine and appealed it. Have membership at the gym where the car park is so shouldn't have been charged at all!! Provided evidence of gym membership which should automatically exempt me from being fined but G24 are not accepting the appeal. Bunch of sodding con men who are just after as much money as they can get.

Incorrect parking notice

Received a penalty notice for the third time relating to hire vehicles from Enterprise Guildford. They allegedly have an arrangement with Wickes nearby but no longer trust this. It would seem that nobody seems to know what this arrangement is, unless G24 have no idea about it or simply being over officious. Have had two deductions of £35 taken by Enterprise (since refunded) and now have a £100 penalty notice from G24 Ltd. See you in court as I can no longer be bothered to handle this the polite way.

G24 - Thieves

I parked the car for 20 minutes, and their website states that the first 20 minutes are free. However, when I left, I received a parking charge for overstaying by 21 minutes. I was safely leaving the area and driving out of the facility when the ticket was issued.

I followed the guidelines regarding Grace Periods, which include a mandatory 10-minute grace period.

The images provided show that the car was in motion at the time the ticket was issued, indicating that it was not stationary or parked. There was no barrier to suggest that the car was parked when the ticket was issued.

They rejected my appeal
The Independent Appeals Service is NOT on the customer side. The horrible service wastes time; they are NOT here to support the customer.

Poor experience - 0 stars!!

Failed to receive 2 notices for parking overstay. First comms is from a company called DCBL who are debt collectors. DCBL are an aggressive and unreasonable company who have no customer service. G24 were unable to let me pay anything with them when explaining I never received them so I wrote them a letter formally complaining that I felt I was being unreasonably treated. They emailed me saying they were happy for me to pay the reduced amount which I have paid within a few days. DCBL have now stated that they don’t accept any proof I give them and that it’s up to G24 to let them know what they want to do. I’ve told them I’m not paying them a penny more and they will have to take me to court. This whole process has been beyond stressful and I may look to refer this the relevant legal bodies with the hope that they sort out my case. Must be a desperate time for both of these companies to be treating people this way. What concerns me - I have felt stressed from this because of how I’ve been treated. I worry someone at their wits end could do something silly because they feel bullied by these companies. If you can park further away from what you need to in a free space I’d recommend. This has not been a good experience at all.

I posted a review in August.

I posted a review in August.
The parking changes escalated to £2000.53 bailiffs turned up at my house unannounced. This was very distressing for my wife who has a heart condition.
I had no choice but come home from work and pay. Which I was very unhappy about. I was working for we buy any car at the time. I was told my car was registered on the portal. Any shop that uses G24 should be ashamed absolute scum company.

So received a fine from my gym carpark…

So received a fine from my gym carpark for exceeding 3 hour limit although gym members are entitled to free all day parking. Appealed the fine directly stating I'm a member and entitled to free parking, and that their signage states nothing about entering your vehicle reg into a machine(which they rejected the appeal on the basis of). refused to pay the parking fine for over a year until we eventually went to court. I put in a counterclaim explaining how they were unlawfully pursuing me. As expected by both G24 (car park company) and DCB Legal(their representatives) according to other reviews, they pulled out their claim weeks before court, leaving just my counterclaim. In the end they were ordered to pay me just short of £300 to cover my out of pocket expenses. Throughout the whole year they intentionally pursued me despite knowing there was no contract breach, in the hopes I would get intimidated and fold. they told my gym on two occasions they had cancelled the fine but continued to pursue me behind closed doors, sent me multiple intimidating letters including bailiff letters, called on occasions all for a fine they knew right from the beginning (because I as a simple citizen had to explained it to them) that there was no breach of contract and the fine was unlawful. DCB and G24 prey on the vulnerability of individuals and use malicious tactics to rinse them of their money. Be wary when using their car parks, and if you happened to receive an unlawful fine, pursue it to court, keep ALL evidence of everything from letters, signage, calls, any correspondence, and anything else related to matter and counterclaim against them. Feel free to email me if you need any assistance. Shame on both companies and their employees. Sold out for a pay check.

Received a parking notice from this…

Received a parking notice from this company as final notice which was the 1st letter received. I have raised appeal for consider the grace period where I have got the reply on 18th Sept by saying I need to pay £100 and no response added to my query, further there was no helpline to discuss. I have paid through helpline where they mentioned the payment reference number. However, payment is not deducted from my account. On 24th Sept, I received a letter form a debt collection company stating it’s even more £170. Spoke to this company and provided proof of payment, I have been told that I have not got 1st letter and got reply on 18th sept to pay 100£ but they didnt listen and just said that 1st letter was issued. I asked for evidence for letter delivery but they didn't listen and threaten to pay £170 otherwise legal action will be taken.
Seems this company is a full of scam people and even instruction is not clearly posted in the parking place and expect people that they aware of the details. I really concern how this company and debit collection operate.
