Scum of the earth
Biggest bunch of scam artists I've ever seen in my life. Scanned receipt from Bnm which said no charge on the machine after being parked for 20 minutes. A week later a parking fine appeared saying I "failed to comply with paying for parking" and I had to pay £100 for my 20 minute visit to Bnm. Literally the scum of the parking world and a disgrace of a company... If you can even call them that. Cavendish Street Keighley. Looking at all the reviews I see they like to scam most visitors to Bnm.
Unwarranted parking fine
I got a parking notice when I parked at local B and M store. I had bought items costing £14 in store and scanned receipt on leaving, machine said no charge. One week later fine appeared in the post. I appealed and sent copy of receipt, I’d been there less than one hour. My appeal was rejected!! I have called in store as there is no way to contact G24 and hopefully the manager has sorted it. Will never park there again, they are thieves!!
No wonder this country is in the state…
No wonder this country is in the state it is in when businesses like this are allowed to illegally operate. I have today received a debt recovery letter demanding £160 for a G24 parking fine dating back to May. I never received any communication from G24 yet they state the notice was sent to my address. To move from 1 notice to debt recovery is to say the least rare and to not receive the notice is even more unusual. I entered the Cavendish Street car park in Keighley to pick up phone messages. never even left the vehicle..I would happily pay the pcn as I clearly contravened the regs but this is just rediculous. Demand issued on 11th. recieved 14th and given 14 days to pay,,,but when I chat to trace they now say the next phase will be actioned in 3 days time...Pure bullying and sharp practice..I would not be surprised to find they are the same organisation.....I would say avoid G24 car parks but by the time you have entered to realise they will demand parking fees and a fine!!.....where is the government when required?????.....look after honest decent tax payer please
G24 are scammers
My family got the fine and paid the £50 charge on the date. Now we getting harassed by bwlegal asking us to pay £160 saying we haven't. We got proof with the phone call and the bank statement. Bwlegal not listening. Is there anyone having the same problem by this scam. They are bunch of scammers.

I parked at a hotel but no one told me I had to put my details on a 'terminal' I appealed and they upheld the fine. Received a letter today 32.8.23 dated 23.8.23 so seems they are putting extra pressure on people. I rang the hotel who wrote to g24 saying 'i was staying there don't give me a ticket' don't think this compassionate well composed e mail will make any difference, If they refuse to cancel the ticket I intend to fight it so look out for Barnsley hotel allows disabled motorist to pay £60 fine on social media, local newspaper & disability magazines - I hate bullies
Unprofessional and obnoxiously rude
Unprofessional and obnoxiously rude. Discourteous telephone conversation with ineptly trained telephone advisor telling me that I am wrong when giving my own personal information. Refused to help provide information and documents, then willingly passed lots of information without confirmation or any passing of DPA checks. Very concerning and will be reported for this. No due diligence towards reaching any level of support or customer service. I am truly concerned that a company can trade with such confrontational and passive aggressive telephone advisors who have a flagrant disregard for the Data protection act. It's clearly not serendipitous that G24 have habitually received 1* star reviews; it must be common best practice within the company to treat rules and regulations with such disregard.
Absolutely crooks 💯
they have had contact with my company.however the terms and conditions they were changed no body were there to tell that from my company after 16 days I receive the first charge I paid that one but there was another one a day before I receive the penalty.however after another 16 day I received 3 in total I appeal to them the they refused. in a few words i were caught for 2 and get plus 2 like gift absolutely disgusting and crooks I'm feel sorry for all of you who doing that kind of job.God see us All and the time of judgement is not far.
Sharp practice at its worst
I have just received a parking charge from g24. I’m not disputing the fine, I overstayed, I’ve paid up. What I think is at best sharp practice is that today is the 17th august, the letter is dated the 4th of august. Which means it’s taken 13 days to arrive. This is not accidental, the friend I had met for coffee had the exact same letter, dated the 4th. Which gives exactly 1 day to pay the fine at the lower rate, yet the letter tells you that you have 14 days to pay, otherwise the £60 charge goes up to £100. I don’t for a minute think this is accidental. So please don’t put these letters aside thinking you have time to pay, as they are deliberately backdating them.
These crooks should be referred to the OFT
I paid for a week, stayed for a day and they still raised a fine. The amount of time and cost it took to get this corrected was unacceptable. Inept, unscrupulous, devious. They do everything they can to avoid engaging with customers and go out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to communicate.
Went down to the opticians and never…
Went down to the opticians and never got told the time limit. Went with a my disabled mum and told them that she had a disabled badge explained everything that was going they just sent a email saying we have looked at your case and then said we look forward to your payment of £60 in the next 14 days. All I can say is this company feels like there just bullies and don’t give a toss there’s a cost of living crises going on well all I can say is hope your proud of yourselves taking £60 of a widow and pensioner Shane on you are absolute disgusting
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers. I unknowingly parked in a car park in Maidstone for longer than the permitted time. A few weeks later, I received a letter saying ‘final notice’ and that I owed £100 fine. This was the first correspondence I ever received, even though the letter stated that previous letter only requested £60. I tried to log an appeal, but it stated that I had a missed the allocated timeslot. Instead, I sent a letter to the given postal address to raise a complaint, I never heard anything back. The week after that I received a bill for £160 from a debt collection agency. I now cannot get any information out of anybody, and the debt collection agency don’t want anything to do with it. G24 are legally not allowed to share my personal information with a third party without my permission whilst in this appeal phase, even though they have gone ahead and shared it with debt collectors.
Scammers
We went to Wickes in Grimsby to look at kitchens. Anyway we ended up speaking to a kitchen designer which took longer than expected. a couple of weeks later we got a penalty notice through the door. So obviously we went on there website and logged an appealed against the penalty. And We never heard anymore from them. Then a month later we received another letter saying, because we ignored the first letter it's now doubled and we must pay the penalty charge. But this time I couldn't appeal against it. So I sent them an email explaining yet again what happened and the fact I lodged an appeal. I received an automated email back off them and heard nothing from them again. Then a month or so later I got a debt collector pestering me, texting and emailing me regarding a "debt". I rang them inquiry about "this debt" they said that it's the debt for the parking notice. So I asked them how did you get my personal data? They said from g24. I told them they had no right to give my personal data! and why are you even calling? It has nothing to do with you! I reminded them that this is not a debt! It only becomes a debt if it goes to court and I'm found liable. Then and only then it will become a debt. so again I've sent an email to both companies telling them to stop harassing me or I'll seek legal advice. If they do decide to take me to court. I'll counter claim for loss of earnings for the day I'm in court and the undue stress and harassment they have caused.
Oh and one more thing. Wickes I'd be having words with this company. Because of all this, I took my business elsewhere. So your now you lost out of a sale of £12,000 Well done g24.
Only given a star otherwise I couldn't…
Only given a star otherwise I couldn't leave a review. Used kenfig car park on 13th May when I found the only ticket machine vandalised and the screen smashed. Wish I'd taken a photo. Anyway, of course I've received a parking charge and, of course, in answer to my written response the company are saying that the machine was in perfect working order on that date so they'll be pursuing the charge. So, in addition to everything that everyone has said so far they're also content to lie about the facts.
Shocking company
Shocking company. Don’t even deserve a star!!! Have emailed twice to ask how I pay my parking fee of £1 explaining that the pay machine had been vandalised and there is no where on their website with a link to pay. Guessed I wouldn’t have a response so I’m expecting a fine any day, which will go straight in the bin.

Birstall - Everlast gym
I went for an open day at the gym. I drove into the car park without noticing the white boards that are pretty much invisible and impossible to read given the structure of the car park. Noone said to me at the gym that I should put my car registration in a tablet which allows for 4 hours parking. So I walked in being totally unaware of the parking arrangement. I stayed for 2 hours 12 minutes. Late April I received a letter to let me know that I was 12 minutes over the limit, so they request me to pay £100. That is £8.33 per minutes!!! I talked to the gym and was advised to object on the grounds that I was in the gym - 4 hours applies - and they will confirm that. I also took pictures of the signs on the ground as I walked to the gym from where I parked my car. Objection is not accepted, pay £8.33 per minutes, £100 in total. If you pay quickly, then £60 which is £5 per minute. Had the signs been visible, I would have made sure that I don't stay over. I think that's clear enough. Cost of living crises, I can't afford £8.33 per minute car park charges!

Parked at Kenfig nature reserve to walk the dog.
Tried to pay at the machine but it had been vandalised, the QR code which had been stuck up was flagged as fraudulent by my phone, and also said that you had to leave before paying!
After returning to the car we drove to the main carpark by the wardens building to try and pay there, as there were no spaces i dropped the wife off and drove around the car park (out then back in).
The warden told my wife you can pay online within 48 hours so we came home to pay only to find out that i had been charged for each drive through the car park.
There are no terms and conditions listed anywhere on their website or the parking machines. I have emailed them offering to pay the correct fee but i won't hold my breathe judging by the reviews.
These people are thieves
These people are thieves, My PCN was cancelled on 17 march 2023, and apparently refund issued (allowing 28days?). It is now more than 2 months still no refund. there is no phone number , no complaint chanel (since I immediately challenged and it was accepted) I have set 2 reminder via registered post, what do I do now? Either they are just plain crooks or they have ceased business?
Bunch of clowns
I was fined for parking where I work…and have a parking permit. They refused my appeal immediately, gave me an incorrect PCN number so I was unable appeal independently, ignore my requests for a correct PCN number and now, I’m happy to report, are having a hell of a time getting any of these debt collection agencies to stick around to collect their money after I explain they can’t follow the code of conduct they are suppose to abide by.
Good luck finding another one, G24.
I have just paid a £60 fine for 13…
I have just paid a £60 fine for 13 minutes parking whilst I bought some football socks, a football, and a drinks bottle for my son 10 minutes before closing at sports direct. I will not use this sports direct again as a result, nor the shops around it. It was my first time in the area so rather than a welcome to commerce I am now discouraged and shall not return out of sheer spite. I spite thee! I do not consider the signage to have been clear in the slightest, or I quite simply would have paid - I am not to a couple of quid.
By having such an inflexible and poorly executed business model G24 has deterred me from using this space and the shops around the area - I will not go there again. This detracts from the car park itself, which will lose value as no-one will use it, and local businesses. G24, I can solve this problem for you: have a sliding scale of fines according to how busy the car park is expected to be and the time someone stays for, ensuring people are fined proportionately. A comparative study to confirm the cost benefit of this would help to. My fee for this awesome advice? 60 quid.

Was charged 1.20 for parking for driving around the carpark for a few mins looking for the electric chargers that were out of use. Contacted customer service and they were rude and abrupt. The people they have working for them need retraining desperately.
