Robbing from the public
Robbing from the public, deliberate stratagies designed to ensure high volume of fines. If you are a retail landlord, then do the right thing and avoid this business like the plague.
CRUEL AND HEARTLESS company
CRUEL AND HEARTLESS company. I received a fine on the day I was told my father had days to live and was returning home for palliative care. I had to pick up supplies for this and was 14 minutes over the parking time. They sent the fine to my old address. Due to my bereavement, I did not get this letter until after the 28 window to pay. I sent a letter explaining the full situation, about my father dying, having to pick up supplies, the fact that I had no concept of time at the time because MY FATHER WAS DYING, and they rejected my appeal and made me pay the HIGHER fine of £90. They wouldn't even consider a lower price. Absolutely cruel and heartless behaviour. I hope everyone at G24 feels proud of the work they do.
Carrying out work at the address they operate
It’s becoming impossible for service engineers to carry out work at the addresses in city’s up and down the uk and many use these companies some do not even work for the land owners but have instead zoned areas as under their own control. I just pay them and pass on costs when I can but many service workers are leaving the industry because of these fines/invoices. I feel sorry for the apprentices it’s literally like a days wages. Why would you work for this sort of business
Absolutely scammers ....my partners van…
Absolutely scammers ....my partners van was broken into on one of they're sites ...had to wait for glaziers to come and replace the side window ...still got a fine for being over the 2 hours despite cctv and a crime reference number but appeal was rejected!!! Absolutely shower of s#@t who won't be receiving a penny !!!parasites !!@
New card only payment terminals in Rochdale - epic fail...
Clearpark have removed the old payment terminals at Rochdale Shopping Centre and replaced them with new card only payment terminals. Not only do they only have one connection to the Internet (required by the new terminals in order to accept payments) but they don't have a means to accept payments over the phone. It's crazy that I have been forced to create an account in order to pay a parking charge of £1.20 with a company that I have no intention of ever dealing with again. Maybe someone should remind them that for something as mission critical as this, they should have more than one Internet connection - with low cost 4G backup circuits readily available, there really is no excuse for installing a system that falls over when the Internet is down.
Avoid Wigan Red Robin Car Park
In Wigan G24 car parks are destroying urban shopping experiences by dictating how long you can and can't spend shopping or going to a sporting event. For a 90 minute match you have 120 minutes total or £100 fine. For shopping you have four hours or 180 minutes (yes, they can't even tell you how many minutes are in one hour). They film you in, film you out and fine you. But hey, didn't you read their "prominent signs" in 11 point type beneath a massive Zone B or such? Well no, actually, because this is deliberate unhelpfulness designed to maximise fine income.
Scammers!!
Please beware, this company don't send out an initial letter for a fine of £60 but then send a final notice for £100. I have just reported them to watchdog!
Went to Pets at Home Dorchester to have…
Went to Pets at Home Dorchester to have our dog grooming done went in to other retail shops on site waiting for the dog to be done went 10 minutes over the 2 hrs got a £100 fine.
WHAT A BUNCH OF.........
HOW CAN THEY JUSTIFY THAT AMOUNT SO WON'T BE GOING BACK.
No initial notice - Just a final demand
No initial letter/notice that would have let me pay the reduced amount or appeal, just the final demand. Seems a common theme. If enough people highlight what they're up to, consumer channels will investigate and bring them down.
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company I will be going to trading standard about you. Bad customer service. Money grabbing company. Have no respect for customers. Why would you even bother working for such a awful company. 3 fines over 3 days jokers. Tell you to go through iAS but then bump the price of the parking charge to 100. Seriously.!
These crooks clearly do not know how to…
These crooks clearly do not know how to tell the time . It’s states on the site board 180 minutes yet they send out PCN fines for 140 minutes they can swivel if they think they are getting any money from me
bullies
bullies. I get automated responses to emails. found their telephone number so you can actually speak to someone. they're still pretty useless on the phone. 03700427215. they offer no resolution, just pay us £100 or we'll send bailiffs.
Brothers funeral
Went to my brothers funeral. The church had an agreement with Go Outdoors for such events but this had changed when G24 took over and I was unaware of this. Several funeral goers were affected including my brother’s wife and daughter. I’m just so angry that no human being will talk to me and feel that this £100 fine is just plain wrong
Dirty Corrupt Company
I wouldn't give them one star, parasite company created to extract money from motorists.
There is no appeal with these criminals, they operate by fear and threat using their 'big brother' bailiffs to put the boot in if you don't comply to their demands.
Be warned they are issuing a Final Notice without first issuing the Contractual Parking Charge Notice, this is without resolve and takes away your 40% discount for early payment.
G24 are a dirty company, infested with and ran by parasites.
Sent a Parking Charge Notice for a vehicle that isn't even mine!!
Sent a Parking Charge Notice for parking in Wicks in Sheffield. I drive an Audi and live in Kent, when I looked at the photo on the notice it was quite clearly a Volvo with a slightly different number plate to mine - unbelievable!!
Needless to say I wont be paying the fine!
Tried charging with flimsy and incorrect evidence
As I can see from looking at some of the reviews below I can see that my own issue is something that they have tried to put on other people too. I also visited a shop twice in one day which gave G24 the gall to issue a CONTRACTUAL PARKING CHARGE NOTICE which is NOT a PCN. The evidence they give is of my number plate at two allotted times. There is no other evidence that it was in the Car Park for the whole time they accuse me of. I have appealed and hope that others will too. I doubt I will be the last but I will be speaking to the Manager of the Halford's and Homebase to make sure this doesn't happen again. I visit these shops often and have never been accused of this before so I will not simply roll over for these tactics which, also, are not even evidence of having committed the parking offence in the first place.
This is a cowboy company
This is a cowboy company. I visited Homebase twice in one day (not a particularly unusual occurrence). I received a £100 parking notice. Checking the photos of my entrance and exit times, the ANPR system only showed my first entrance and last exit from the car park…..hence the notice for parking there for 146 minutes! It had completely ignored my exit and re-entrance in between. This is an appalling practice and I think, totally illegal. It is simple to pair entrances and exits together and not simply take the first and last. G24 are scammers!!
Greedy
My contractal parking charge came today 22.12.22 from the 09.12.22,i met a friend for coffee as there is a Costa there. Obviously no one sees the 20ft signage for 1 hour in the car park, who takes 1 hour for a meet? Come on most places are 90 minutes it's just absolute greed and it's a disgrace these companies should be shut down.
This company is S--T
This company is S--T, I have have been given a parking fine for parking a disabled car with Blue Badge on yellow lines, my wife who holds the badge was collecting a order from a bakery which according to them park there to long when you get 3 hours before you are braking the law. I gave tried to appeal this charge but G24 will not give me the number to appeal to a independent company.
Same as everyone else’s reviews
Same as everyone else’s reviews. They don’t send you an initial letter asking for the £60 fine, only a second one claiming you owe them more money for not paying in the initial time given. When you go to challenge this they ignore you then charge you even more as further time has lapsed. They know exactly what they’re doing, it’s fraud and I can’t understand how they’re getting away with it, clearly they’re doing it to everyone.
As scammy as can be, I don’t know how these people sleep
