I cannot understand how this company gets the positive reviews. they're lying thieves.
I recently had a couple of tyres delivered to another company on that same estate and when I turned up to have them fitted they hadn't been delivered. The owner of the company correctly surmised that they'd been delivered to LAS.

We walked over and I explained that they'd been incorrectly delivered and described the make / size etc (bear in mind this is over £400 for 2 tyres).
The man was adamant that they'd not received them until I pulled out my phone and showed them the signed delivery note showing their company.

At that point he didn't even look embarassed, just shrugged and replied that he might have them and then walked across to where he had them stashed.

Wouldn't trust this lot as far as I could throw them.

If you had bothered to even ask any of your staff whether they had been accidentally delivered I would have had a very different experience. As it was, you were adamant you hadn’t received them until I showed you the evidence of the signed delivery note.
You didn’t even have the good manners to apologise.

I bought my car online and had a wonderfully seam free experience. There was great communication over the phone. All of my questions were answered. Any evidence or pictures I requested was swiftly provided. My car was delivered to me quickly. No hassle os stress whatsoever. It’s been a great experience. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Latch broke on our boot lid 24 hours before a ferry trip abroad. Mehdi pulled out all the stops to get us fixed within a couple of hours. Great customer service from him, James and all the guys and girls.

Honest, trust worthy, reliable, i have used james for many years and the team he has now are brilliant i can phone james up and he will help me out the best he can and i have taken many of my cars to him. I have recommended so many to him as well.

Car was collected from house when they said. Went in for an interim service and a thorough check over and all done efficiently bought back to house with invoice containing bank details for payment which was done straight away as very pleased. 😊

James and all his staff have been excellent every time I have used them over the last couple of years. From just getting an MOT sorted to a complete rebuild of my Land Rover. I could not recommend them more, they pickup and drop off and have everything ready when they say and no issues so far. Keep up the good work

Expensive and not competitive on costs; unreliable on their timings- ready by lunch means end of business day at best; lack of quality control has left one vehicle having to go back in a third time and the second nearly ruined the engine due to incompetence of their staff; receptionists are helpful but are used like doctor’s receptionist to prevent you speaking to the specialist; difficult to trust their judgement and second opinions are recommended- we will take our business elsewhere

This bad experience began with my MOT in March. I had no communication at all from this garage to tell me the car had failed and what work was required. I had to chase for a week and the car still wasn’t ready for collection at the time agreed on the phone. I find out less than 3 months later that the chassis on my car is corroded beyond economical repair, yet it had an MOT with no advisories. I contacted the garage who offered £200 of welding to solve this problem, having previously had a quote for one part of the car to be repaired at a cost of £200 this felt wrong and I felt that I was being lied to. The owner James then tried to tell me that another garage who had found the corrosion and informed me of the dangerous state of my vehicle where ‘trying to have you on’ and later suggested they wanted to buy my car cheaply to sell for parts. Both claims are untrue. The owner James also stated he felt it was perfectly reasonable for the car to have passed it’s MOT less than 3 months earlier with no advisories on the chassis and the corrosion could have happened in 3 months as the car is an ‘off roader’, it doesn’t get driven off road. Avoid at all costs if you value your safety.

Phoned LAS at 7.30am on Wednesday 26th May to say I had a problem with my brakes, James told me to bring my car in so they could look at it for me. Got a phone call at 10.30am to tell me what the problem was and would I like to go ahead. Gave the go ahead to get the brakes sorted and by 1.30pm I had a text to say my car was ready for collection! Amazing service by all the Staff involved. Thank you very much and would definitely recommend this garage to anyone.

Helpful garage with great facilities.
We had our Camper serviced and MOT’d at LAS. Although it failed, they were able to carry out the work as well as some aesthetic improvements before we got the vehicle back.

Excellent service and updates throughout the repairs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A good cup of coffee always available too.

I've known James personally for many years and since he set up his own business I've never gone elsewhere nor would I even contemplate it.

LAS is an incredible garage, great staff and great service - they go above and beyond expectation and pay attention to every little detail. Very good customer service, friendly and very skilled, hard working mechanics and a lovely team. I was very impressed with the work carried out on my car by Kenny who is one of the fantastic mechanics here who was able to diagnose and fix everything so well and so fast for me. I thoroughly recommend all the team and to James the owner for such a fast and super service & great communication, but to Kenny in particular for such skilled work - definitely will return again in future and recommend to anyone to go here. As a local, self employed gardener I have now used James and the team at Liphook Auto Services on several occasions. I have always found them a joy to deal with. I turned up yesterday, unannounced to sort out an issue with my headlight on my van. 10 minutes later and it's all done. Brilliant service from a brilliant company.

Took my car to get a new tyre fitted today very professional service with excellent customer service if you are looking for a good place to take your car van or moter home look no further have been using James for many years now and would not go anywhere else ☯️
