The price and original pre purchase service was excellent. The sub contractor who fitted the boiler was excellent,really professional.
I was sent certificate after the job which was incorrect wrong date and engineer.I contacted gas assist twice ,not helpful and correct certificate never sent. This correct information is important to me.

All experience from start to finish to our highest satisfaction. Compare with other quotations to change our old combi boiler system to new Worchester 4000 with thermostat and other extras, Tom's estimate was £1,000 cheaper according to other companies estimate break down list. Also we highly recommend George, our installation gas engineer. He called prior appointment, explained the procedure and gave us a time schedule, was very professional, polite and friendly. Provided with all relative certificates and warranties. Great service, above expectations!

Website BoilerGuide found me three local companies who wanted to quote for a new boiler.

Gas Assist impressed by quoting a fixed price before they knew how I planned to pay for the work. One company needed to know if I wanted interest free terms before visiting me for a quote. Their bid ended there and then.

Happy with my quotes for 30Kw Glow Worm and Worcester, I went for the more expensive Worcester 4000 on interest free terms. With base rate rising to 1.75% yesterday, I might have been fortunate to get an interest free deal over 36 months with a £50 deposit.

The boiler was booked in for the 28th July and on the appointed day their engineer George Ayres appeared at 9am , removed the old Glow Worm and vertical flu , and fitted the Worcester and a new vertical flu by 4pm.

George completed the paperwork for me to guarantee the replacement boiler and filter with Worcester-Bosch and provided a very friendly and professional service throughout.

The boiler is in and working and has cost me £50 so far.
The finance was agreed within minutes and accepted as soon as I realised the financier was waiting for me to click their online cancel and review button ( a day or two later). That was the only hiccough - the review ended with my signature to accept and finalise the agreement, another click of a button.

The financier monitors everything including a dispute option to ensure you are happy. I highly recommend easy terms which I never expected to be available at my age. Provided your payments are completed before your 80th birthday you will be considered subject to other credit worthiness checks of course.

Living on a pension, I was able to afford the more expensive boiler for a few extra pounds per month.

Thank you Thomas, Glen , and George Ayres for a trouble-free preparation and installation. This was a great experience after the shock of British Gas condemning my old boiler for the sake of a missing part (gale damage) on the obsolete vertical flu.

Great service both on sales and fitting, ordered 3 new boilers on Monday fitted first one on Friday and the other two will be fitted on Tuesday - all of the staff are really professional, helpful and pleasant to deal with and the service is first class a rare find nowadays!

Shakespeare was alive when our two rooved thatched cottage was built and our old boiler system had the worst imaginable access to two immersion heaters and two water tanks in the narrow roof space. Our old maintenance contractors came out fourteen times last year, largely unsuccessfully, to try to coax heat into our long house. Gas Assist came round to inspect, said they could install a Combi boiler, replace two radiators and clean out the decrepit gunged up system. They left yesterday after installing a new replacement water softener I had just bought form Screwfix at no charge! I am absolutely delighted with the workmanship - and the job was certainly full of challenges - and the result, all at at a competitive and fair price. Highly recommended.

Can recommend this company. Slight hiccup with first appointment but came a week later due to illness. The new boiler was fitted in a day by their technician George who was excellent & communicated well with me at all times & reacted to any concerns or alterations I inputted. Also the customer care response is second to none. Again highly recommended. 5 🌟 + excellent value for money.

Gas Assist have just fitted our new Worcester Combi boiler. They have been helpful and professional from start to finish. We were booked in to have our boiler fitted , engineer got covid , they arranged another engineer to come in on a bank holiday. Arrived early and clean workers , dust sheets and very informative , Big thank you to George Ayres and the young apprentice . Would highly recommend.

JUST THE JOB

George turned up at the appointed hour to fit our new boiler. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and considerate and did a great job. Everything was tested, questions answered and we felt we were in good hands. The new boiler seems to be working fine
after 24 hours from installation - would recommend Gas Assist.

Great experience from the first call with a helpful lady called Abi and a full central system installed two days later. Professional service with a fair price. Couldn’t ask for more and would recommend to anyone.
