Had an amazing experience with Gas…

Had an amazing experience with Gas assist. Got a new combi boiler installed after my old one broke. Went from having no hot water and heating to nice toasty warm house again all in a few days! Couldn’t recommend enough

First class service and understanding

First class service and understanding. Very cooperative with what I needed and very fair with pricing. I’ve had many bad experiences in the past with other gas / boiler companies and delayed serving weeks for a response. But finally had the help I needed!

Very professional & helpful from the start

From the initial call with the very polite young lady who gave me plenty of helpful information to the lovely chap ben who gave me follow with a call to check everything with my experience was all smooth sailing, I was very impressed.

Sam the engineer who came to my house to install was a delight and very professional.

Definitely would recommend, and it's a nice feeling to know if I need to call them for any issues or reasons they have a 24 hour line to contact them.

A good job

The boiler was installed on the day specified. At the price agreed. The engineers were knowledgeable, helpful and personable. The area was left clean and tidy.
A good job, and I would readily use Gas Assist again.

so this was a boiler replacement…

so this was a boiler replacement .George was the heating guy who turned up on time and did the boiler change very cool calm and professional .everything tidy dust sheets on the floor even !
I will use this company again and George in any of my rentals that require this type of work many thanks for a job well done Bern

A painful Experience for £6,000.00 …

This is a copy of the letter of complaint sent to the Director of Gas Assist. ( needless to say no response)..

Good Afternoon Tom.

It has been over a month since the Worcester Bosch Engineer, who inspected the installation of my new boiler by your company, deemed it to be at risk. To date, despite a vague promise by email to correct this work and a conversation with your office last week assuring me that this matter will be dealt with and an assurance of a call back to confirm this... still nothing has happened. My warranty with Worcester Bosch has also been suspended pending your company rectifying the shoddy installation works.

The whole process of dealing with your company has been painful, from the start. From the surveyor’s site visit assuring me that the agreed price was fixed . Although he failed to include the flue. Then to find that the hot water tank would not fit into the airing cupboard and fitting another tank in the loft was the only solution and this and would cost me more money. I had to compromise and pay these additional costs. The agreed price was to install a dual zone heating system and an extra days labour was agreed in the price to carry this out. The installation team informed me that this wasn’t feasible and that it couldn’t be done. Again, a compromise on my part and a small reduction was offered to mitigate this.

In addition during the installation water was found coming through my downstairs lounge ceiling and the shower valve in the en suite bursting off the wall and water spraying out into the bathroom. The only support I got from your company was that I should contact a plumber as Gas Assist is a Central Heating Engineering Company and couldn’t help with this issue.

So you can imagine that on hearing from Worcester Bosch that the Heating Engineers that installed my boiler had made such a poor job that they were putting the boiler at risk, was quite a shock.

I know you are already aware of these problems but I am going through the formal process of putting this in writing to you by way of Complaint and give you the opportunity to rectify the faults raised by Worcester Bosch.

I look forward to hearing when you intend to resolve this matter.

Choice _ Very Difficult !!

Very good service, friendly efficient over all advice on different gas boilers/fittings We have yet to decide on the Company to complete the work - it is very competitive and a bit confusing for the layman! The Decision will be close but Gas Assist LTD will be in the running.
