Melvin from Gaswise UK really helped us out when our boiler packed up and we had family staying with us. He came the next day and soon had us with hot water and heating again. Thoroughly recommended.

Melvin came to service my boiler and sort an issue I had with the valve. It’s the 2nd time I’ve used him now. He arrives on time and really friendly. Sorted my problem with the water tank and I’m really happy with the speed and pricing of his work. I recommended him to a neighbour and he came out the same day and he was also extremely happy with his service and pricing. Will be recommending Melvin to all my friends.

This man put £55 for the gas service or you would think the call out charge on yell as the starting deceiving point. When you call the number, he then tell you it would cost you £75 plus parts which he has to see what's the problem. Then he came and just reset the water boiler and it works, that's all he did in ONE minute and he insisted to be paid £75 pounds which I paid to let him go. From my true experience, you can see every step dealing with him, is all tricks to get you and your money which is the only matter.
Be careful, you can be charged £75 FOR ONE MINUTE! Never use this man and his company GASWISE again!

I contacted Gaswise for an annual gas boiler check. A lovely gentleman came out 2 days later and found I had a gas leak from my hob. He was really helpful with the information and once the new hob is delivered, will come back the next day to fit it. I was really impressed with the service and pricing and they now have a new customer for life. Thanks again, you’ve been amazing!!

I have used Gaswise for years but after this time- never again!!
After not turning up at the agreed time and needing to be chased, then forgetting what work was to be done, only half a job was completed with denial of knowing what was booked to be done and what quote had been given. Then laughing at the quote given and attempting to get more money for the full job that was supposed to have been done. When asked about this, we were met by defensiveness and a slamming of our door on leaving.
On a tight timeframe we were made late for an appointment with no regard for our timing or any apologies.
We had to ask for a receipt, which was begrudgingly given.
Awful service, interpersonal skills and a really poor way to run a business!!

We booked Gaswise for a service on our combo boiler & to check a small issue we had.
Ryan attended & serviced the boiler then diagnosed what was causing the issue, he fixed this quickly for us.
Throughout Ryan was polite, professional & hard-working, he worked cleanly, tidied up after himself & even took his shoes off as soon as he came through the front door, this was appreciated.
The quote for the repair, on top of the original service price was very reasonable.
When we attended the office to pay the invoices all of the staff were welcoming & professional.

My boiler suddenly stopped working one evening and I messaged Gaswise for assistance. Even it was after office hour, Melvin responded quickly and arranged to visit & check on it the next morning. Arrived punctually and for unknown reason my boiler was working again. Melvin made some basic checks and flexibly switched to conduct annual service check on my boiler instead as it was due anyway.

Early next day, he proactively checked back with me if everything was still working fine; and actually the boiler stopped working again! I took some videos for him to see how the boiler behaved and Melvin was knowledgeable to make some initial diagnosis of the intermittent fault; visit again in the mid afternoon (again, very punctual). This time the root cause of the problem was found and fully resolved!!

It's the time of the year that a normally functioning boiler is of utmost importance!! Very delighted that Melvin is responsive for my desperate call for help. He's very professional and friendly to work with. I have no hesitation to recommend Gaswise for my friends and neighbours!!

First class response to rectify our boiler that had stopped working. Cannot recommend highly enough the time and effort taken, including long discussion with the boiler company's technical department.
The bill was so reasonable that I thought I had mis-heard.
Great, old fashioned, excellent service from a local firm.
Now set for annual servicing.

We called to remove a gas hob and boiler serviced and right the next day the job was done! Very efficient, friendly and helpful plus good competitive prices. Melvin gave me also some advises for some problem to the boiler that could be fixed with the warranty. Great job, highly recommended!!

Melvin came out within 30 minutes of calling him. He explained clearly what the issue was with my boiler and fixed it on-site there and then. Very impressed with everything and would highly recommend.

Called last night about a boiler repair and he came, as agreed at 10am today. Had a look, went to buy the product and had it fixed super quick! Great value for money, especially as I got the boiler serviced at the same time! Would 100% recommend.

My boiler broke down and national companies were quoting astronomical amount. Gas wise came out first thing the next day (Saturday) and fixed within 15 minutes. Very fair price. Excellent my t local service

February 24th 2022. We heard loud squealing noises from the bathroom cupboard near the water tank. Then silence and the central heating went off. Searched around without much luck. Then found Gaswise and someone was prepared to come out straight away. Melvyn came out and analysed the problem. He promised to come the following morning and sort it out. He arrived on time with replacement parts and fitted them in two hours, then checked all was well and left the house rapidly warming up again. Prompt, efficient, skillful and professional work. Cooker not working properly. Lovely man came out on a Sunday, fixed issued within 30 minutes. Would highly recommend. Good local tradesman, reasonable price for work carried out.

I texted him around 8pm and he kindly replied and asked what the problem was. Once, I explained the problem, I got an appointment on the next day. Very punctual, friendly and professional.

Melvin is an extremely good gas engineer.
Punctual, polite, informative and friendly.
He has worked on boilers at three of our rental properties.
All issues were resolved immediately and where parts were required; he would return early the next day to fit them.
Great guy with morals.
I will be asking him later today to take on all our rental properties for boiler servicing and annual landlords certification, opposed to being lucky enough to be allocated him from our landlords emergency service breakdown cover.
Highly recommended.
