Would avoid

Shoes took over 3 weeks to deliver and were not even in a box, just wrapped in bag. They were way too small and I ordered a size bigger. They also had a strange chemical odor to them. Worst is that it cost over 20% of the sale price to return with restocking and shipping.

Shoe fell apart and CS doesn’t replace

First off- a repeat customer for 3 pairs of shoes. After 2.5 months on the third pair- they literally fell apart while husband was wearing them to work out of our home state (so no other shoe availability). He had to purchase something immediately. He took pictures knowing I wasn’t going to believe him. Contacted customer service and they requested a picture of the tongue of shoe for size- I literally just sent in my previous order and the pictures. They refused to replace saying the tongue gave the size to reorder. So does the order number I already gave you. If they don’t stand behind their products with good customer service then I’m not purchasing anymore.

I have purchased 8 pair of Gatsby shoes for myself and a few for my sons. The first time I had some come apart, heel tore away from the shoe, I emailed and received a response that evening. By morning I received an email telling me a new pair were on the way! A great company and a great shoe!

After minimal use my Gatsby shoes fell apart.

I bought Gatsby shoes in December 2024. I wear them on Sunday so they still look like new. The front of the sole separated from the shoe. They responded that my concerns were noted but fell outside of their 6-month window. I found their staff to be inflexible and pandering with their comments. My shoes clearly had a manufacturing issue and Gatsby didn't care. I don't recommend Gatsby to anyone.

Return policy! Read it. Go to brick and mortar store instead

Won't stand by their product.

I purchased 2 pair of shoes from Gatsby in late August 2024. In October 2025, the soles of one pair fell apart. When I contacted Gatsby they basically told me it was unfortunate that the soles didn't come apart within the first 30 days, and that I was on my own. So in short, if you purchase their shoes, they will not last for more than 12-14 months. I will not be purchasing anything from this company in the future.
