Good packaging, great organic raw milk
Ordered raw milk subscription from Gazehill. Delivery came on time with good packaging meaning the milk was still cold when it arrived thanks to the ice packs and insulating covers.
They sent me extra milk by mistake and i emailed them to clarify and they told me to enjoy the extra milk.
Great customer service. Will be using them for the foreseeable future.

Health hazard and out of pocket
I ordered raw milk and it arrived warm and so not fit for consumption. I complained and had no response. Health hazard and out of pocket.
Too expensive to risk getting rubbish
I have to say we were incredibly disappointed with the rump steak we purchased. Firstly, the order was sent in a plastic bag, which, after two days stuck in transit, even though it was supposed to have been overnighted, arrived warm and unsafe to eat. After several complaint phone calls I was promised the £50+ order would be resent. It arrived the next day, once again in a plastic bag but at least wrapped in thermal plastic and an ice sheet so it was just about cold enough.
I put the steak in the freezer and got it out today to make pepper steak. Now I know rump steak is not the most tenderest of cuts but this couldn’t even be sliced with a steak knife. We chewed and chewed and probably ended up with two mouthfuls of edible meat. At the price you charge I expect MUCH better. It also seems I can’t post an honest negative review on your site.
We also bought ribeye steak which was very nice but it’s too risky to buy from you, especially at such a high price so you’ve lost a customer.
Poor Quality Standards
Ordered Offal, raw milk which seemed ok. However Bacon and sausages were received on the same day as the Best Before date. The Streaky bacon was 80%Fat and was fit for the lard and nothing more. Overall disappointed and certainly will not order again.
DO NOT BUY from this company!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
With a heavy heart I have to write this review for Gazegill Organics. This is a company that I completely bought into, as it has a wonderful backstory and amazing product! Unfortunately, thats where it begins and ends as I have found out to my utter disappointment that their attitude to your health is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! I have purchased from Gazegill on numerous occasions since lockdown when I read about them in a magazine. On two of the occasions I had a delivery, one of the Raw Milk and one of Organic Meat that I noted that the products felt warm and so checked with my (commercial) temperature probe to find that they were recording temperatures of 8 degrees (milk) and 7degrees (meat). Giving the company the benefit of the doubt on the first occasion (milk) I did not complain, however when I received my order of meat/dairy products I thought it would be helpful if I let them know that they obviously had a problem with their packaging if their products were reading a dangerously high temperature when received by the consumer (especially for RAW milk) Please note ALL meat/dairy products should be below 5 degrees on delivery NOT to be a HEALTH HAZZARD!!
Now being in business myself I know how important feedback is whether it is good or bad. Unfortunately my experience with the lady (Jessie) who answered the phone was not one I would like to repeat. The response to me kindly letting her know of the issue was oh well "ice does melt in transit" duh! Firstly HOW RUDE! - does she honestly think that her customers are that stupid that they don't know that ice melts??
Subsequently being told that "sustainability" is more important to customers than the goods arriving in an edible condition and not posing a health risk to consumers is SHOCKING to say the least and she continued to explain that she felt that they had done their duty as a producer to despatched the order and the customer receive it within 24 hours showing absolutely no regard to what temperature the meat records when delivered. Please bear in mind this was a large order and inside I had one ice pack that measured 4" x 6"and nothing else to keep the meat/dairy cool in transit. I actually think that in this case it's the COST of suitable packaging not sustainability that matters most to Gazegill.
I purchase meat/dairy products from other suppliers - Mac & Wild, Lidgates, Pipers Farm with never any problems for use as a consumer and for use in my commercial B-CORP business (so I completely understand sustainability and I know it's an expensive route to go down in business but so worth it if you do it right) therefore I am no stranger to the rules of Environmental Health that Gazegill Organics are governed by and SHOULD be practising. This company has a very blase attitude to the impact of high temperature recordings of meat and dairy and the dangers posed by this to EVERYONE who consumes their products, coupled with the fact that they sell RAW milk which already is a higher risk to consumers anyway, fills me with the utmost fear that someone will become ill/die as a result of the inadequate practices that they adopt! PLEASE GAZEGILL LISTEN to your customers and don't put PROFIT before our HEALTH! I am absolutely shocked and extremely disappointed in the real attitude behind the story, I had truly bought into your brand and had passed your details onto many, many of our own customers and friends and was sincerely hoping to support you long into the future. Unfortunately just an offer of replacement goods is NOT A SUBSTITUTE to DANGEROUS practices within your company.
