T-shirts that shrink on 40 degree cycles
I bought four T-shirts while on holiday. I wore two while I was away and washed them on my return to the UK. Although I followed their washing instructions (40 degrees. No tumble drying and low spin cycle, even though this is not specified), both t-shirts shrank, so I contacted their customer services. This involved lengthy exchanges where, as previously noted, they demand lots of pictures of labels and the garments laid along a tape measure so they can see the dimensions.
I was also able to lay them on top of the as yet unworn t-shirts, which clearly showed the extent of the shrinkage - around 2.5cm al round. After several days of email exchanges, they came back and said they couldn't give me a refund as I hadn't followed the maintenance directions. Given that I did follow the washing instructions, that reply basically insinuated that I was lying. So poor quality t-shirts, even worse customer service where they assume their customers are liars. At Euro19.95, these are not cheap t-shirts. Don't waste your money here. Recommend you use M&S that offers 100% cotton t-shirts that last years and do not shrink even after multiple washes at 40 degrees.
Horrific return policies
Horrific return policies. I have shopped online regularly for years & have never come across 14 day return with no leniency. Numerous emails with them refusing to accept items that didn’t fit my child & she didn’t like.
Store very kindly exchanged clothing. But it’s the last time I’ll ever purchase Benetton brand.

The customer service is awful. Lists of demands for what they want to evidence the faults on three products I have purchased with no indication of what they plan to do in terms of compensation. I am now seven emails and 9 photos into a 'customer service' interaction with no light at the end of the tunnel. Avoid!

Terrible. Returns are impossible to make - the instructions are wrong and it's an international package. There is no UK customer service. And it took weeks to arrive on the first place.

What a scam!
Ordered online only to receive the wrong items and now Benetton refuse to give my money back and say that they no longer have those items in stock.
They are also asking me to pay for the return of the incorrect items, which I never ordered, and only then will I possibly receive a refund!
Terrible customer service as well since they do not want to deal with my query and I have to chase them multiple times.
And the slap in the face is they sent me a 10% discount code to buy from them when they still haven't issued my refund.

Order not delivered and Benetton refuse to rectify the issue
I have placed an order on their website on 27th December 2024. It’s been almost two months since my order and I still haven’t received my order.
I have contacted their customer support multiple times but they either ignore my queries or provide false assurances.
I have been buying from Benetton for years and didn’t expect such a disappointing customer service.
They also refuse to refund my money or to rectify the issue. Please avoid buying anything from this company.

Terrible customer service! Dear friends, I would like to make you aware about the online shop: United Color of Benetton . Which I shop there very often. But their customer service is terrible. I have sent them back a return parcel. And unfortunately the shipping invoice for declension(as uk is now outside the eu. You have to put outside any packages sent out from uk.) I and this paper gone lost for the shipping company whistle the package was on the way to the company in Italy. And I got my package back due the lost of papers. And I can’t use the shipping label anymore. And the company refuses to give me another shipping label because I can’t use the one I got before. So, I am stuck with the items I want to return. Anyone experience such a situation with them??
Dreadful returns system
Dreadful returns system. Couldn't arrange online despite longer returns policy over Xmas. I was sent so many different forms & labels I had no idea what the correct ones to use were. I had confirmation that the items have been received, although it only detailed one of the 2 items returned and a week on, no further communication.

FURTHER TO MY EARLIER REVIEW I WAS ADVISED BY BENETTON TO REFUSE AN ORDER SENT IN ERROR. I REFUSED THE PACKAGE ON THE 12th OF DECEMBER AND HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND. I HAVE SENT SIX EMAILS TO CUSTOMER SERVICES WITHOUT A REPLY! UPS HAVE BEEN NO HELP EITHER.

Nightmare shopping experience
Ordered a pair of trousers, once arrived I have decided to return the item.
An absolute nightmare, the item needed to be shipped back to Italy.
Got stuck at the custom clearance, had to contact several times the terrible customer service super unhelpful and unpleasant.
A week later still waiting for the goods to be returned.

It took 2.5 weeks for the package to arrive while they only allowed 2 week return period and did not allow any exception. As it was during Christmas holiday period I would assume the same policy as in pretty much all other shops applies with ability to return things in January but clearly Benetton does not care about their customers. Now I’m stuck with clothes that do not fit me.
WORST COMPANY EVER
Never received my delivery since Benetton use UPS - at which we all know who UPS is...BENETTON NEVER AGAIN
