Fair pricing and shipping costs Suprisingly enough, the shipment fare to Italy for a small package (which fits in the mailbox) was just 1€ Looking forward at buying here again

Non ho ricevuto ancora il mixer

Ancora deve arrivarmi il mixer, è fermo alla sede UPS di Carpi da prima di Natale. Sono basito per L’ inefficienza di UPS, cambiate corriere!
Se entro un paio di giorni non avrò notizie del mixer, agirò per vie legali. Il call center non da informazioni precise, l’AI è completamente inutile!!

I still have to get the mixer, it's been stopped at the UPS office in Carpi since before Christmas. I'm thrilled by the inefficiency of UPS, change courier!

If I don't hear from the mixer within a couple of days, I'll take legal action. The call center doesn't give precise information, the AI is completely useless!!

Purtroppo, in alcuni casi, quando gli ordini vengono spediti dal nostro magazzino nel Regno Unito, i colli devono prima passare dalla dogana per i controlli di routine. La spedizione viene poi rilasciata una volta che il destinatario ha confermato i propri dati personali. In queste circostanze, UPS contatta il destinatario prima della consegna tramite chiamata, SMS o email per richiedere tali informazioni.
Ci teniamo a sottolineare che questo non è il livello di servizio né l’esperienza che la nostra azienda desidera offrire ai propri clienti. Per questo motivo, provvederemo a contattarla privatamente nel più breve tempo possibile al fine di risolvere la situazione e fornirle assistenza diretta fino alla consegna del mixer.

I had a credit of 140 plus EUR…

I had a credit of 140 plus EUR available to me. It was supposed to be on my account for an additional purchase,i.e., what they call exchange. I went to their website to make an additional purchase and the credit for 140 EUR was not there. I wrote to their customer support multiple times and NEVER received an answer.

Therefore, I had to do a review of their terrible service. And now I am having to set the record straight because they had my review removed by Trust Pilot. I have copies of email and screen grabs that prove what I say. On the other hand once I reported them here on TrustPilot they responded that the credit was for an exchange but that I changed my mind. THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE FABRICATION. They have no evidence of what they’re claim. They would rather play games and try to CTA here rather than admit a mistake of poor service and correct the problem. They say they have now sent a credit to my original method of purchase. We’ll see. At this point I do not TRUST that they will deliver on what they say because so far they have not and chose to lie here on TrustPilot. What a shameful group. I am posting this review here because they had the other one removed due to a technicality of a name that was apparently in an email I added here as proof that I included in my original review.

This is an incredible lack of moral fortitude on their part. They would rather play games rather than admit to poor customer service and broken TRUST of their word. Read the many 1 star reviews and you will see that the majority of complaints are about their customer service. Many of the positive reviews are by people who received their product. But if something goes wrong with the purchase, expect very poor customer service. I received my products too but had things that went wrong and I encountered the same as the others, very poor service from a company that apparently does not care about their customers and customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!

Extremely disappointed – never buying from Gear4music again

I ordered a Digitakt 2 (€976), and the package was lost by GLS. After trying in vain to reach someone by phone, I went to the local GLS office where a staff member told me the package was simply “lost.” I filed a complaint with Gear4music, only to receive a generic email stating that shipments from Germany to Italy can take up to two weeks – clearly showing they didn’t even read my actual message.

Two days later, the package finally arrived… What a disaster. I wish I could post photos: what I received was a broken, opened box sealed with random tape, with no proper packaging whatsoever. Are you seriously trying to pass this off as a brand-new item? This is a scam.

This experience was beyond unacceptable. I will never buy from this site again. Total fraudsters.

— UPDATE —
The response below is simply not true. Gear4music claimed on July 1st that the refund had already been issued – completely false. They never even notified me when they received the item; I had to follow up myself. When I finally got a reply, the person told me that the refund process would take 5 to 10 business days starting from July 1st. Today is July 14th, and I have still not received a cent. Enough with the lies and vague apologies – this is a disgraceful level of customer service.

NUX B-7 PRO The worst IEM yo can buy

NUX B-7 PRO The worst IEM yo can buy: awful crackling sound and NUX states that is not for playing alone and that it is intended to be used playing over a backing track so to hide crackles on the guitar sound. Tested in a room free from other wireless devices and there is distortion when playing bass strings and harmonics (not all wireless systems suffer distortion, good systems doesn’t have, and this is a high end and not cheap device so it should not have but it’s not distortion free). Furthermore if you place the receiver on the top of the transmitter even if the receiver battery is fully charged it drains half of the transmitter battery charge in a day triggering repeated receiver battery charging cycles the surely will shorten its life (and there is no option to replace it).

Harlem 7 string


I wanted to buy a 7 string guitar, that I wouldn't use often anyway.
So I bought a Harlem 7-string (220€ including shipping) just because the Jackson that I wanted was not in stock (covid times)
I new that I would get what I paid for, but I know how to make a guitar setup so I gave it a try
If you don't know how to make a full setup, then DON'T BUY GEAR4MUSIC guitars. :)

The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box was that the pickups pole pieces where not straight with the strings
When I tried to play It had many problems
So I straightened the pickups and screwed them down to the body
Then the strings where very close to the pickups even with the bridge saddles at their highest point.
I made some wood sims for the neck pocket and that solved this problem
Now it was more playable, but there was a lot of awful fret buzz
So I did a full fretwork
After that I did all the adjustments to the trussrod, intonation, saddle height, and made a new nut

Now plays nice, but
for someone that has to pay for all this stuff, it is not a good choice
If you want to learn how to set up a guitar it is a nice choice :) :) :)

Gear4music offers fair pricing and…

Gear4music offers fair pricing and decent product quality. I was generally pleased with my purchase experience, although some items like the hi-hats needed replacing. Shipping to Italy was surprisingly affordable. Their competitive prices and quick delivery make them an option worth considering again. Overall, I am mostly satisfied.

Yamaha SB3J Silent Brass for French Horn

ho acquistato la sordina con microfono e cuffie per corno francese ma mi è arrivata la versione precedente a quella descritta nell'articolo, inoltre pur volendola usare, per qualche motivo la sordina era tappata e non passava aria attraverso il foro, rendendo impossibile suonare quindi il suo utilizzo, inoltre le bustine dei componenti erano palesemente già state aperte quindi non era la prima volta che questo articolo viene riconsegnato....
