Do not order! Rude service team too

I ordered product back on June 1st.
I understand there was a backlog for this item. So was happy to wait.

Was advised of multiple deliveries which were never fulfilled and I was ignored. After 2 months I asked when I could expect my order. Always making sure I was polite, but expressing my frustration as this was a gift

Instead I got my order cancelled and a really rude reply from Rich. Saying they couldn't be bothered with my 'moaning' and cancelled my order

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING !!

Purchased Pokemon 151 products on pre order in June only for the product to be cancelled and then re advertised on their website at a higher price ! I am still waiting on a refund which I have now contacted by bank and I advise anyone else who has had the same issue to do the same. For anyone else new to GeekPeek DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING !

This is very likely a scam

This is very likely a scam. If it isn't, it's one of the most incompetent businesses I've ever dealt with.

Search for them on reddit you will see even more complaints.

Forced me to get my bank involved to get a refund and evasive/delay tactics in customer service. Avoid at all costs. The owner is as passive aggressive in customer emails as they are in these reviews.

Cannot recommend this site at this time

Cannot recommend this site at this time. Same problem as many on here, ordered 151 cards months ago, with constant delays in orders and delays in response to emails.

24/7 helpline always says the lines are busy, and tells me to email. This is despite me waiting for weeks for a reply to my email asking for a refund.

The emails also state that if you send a new email, you are sent to the back of the queue, which leaves you in a loop of not getting any updates from anywhere.

It's fine if you can't fulfil the orders, but after months of patience and polite emails, it's starting to take the mickey. Just seeking a refund and some correspondence.

Don't order from here

I ordered packs of Pokémon 151 over a month ago. They cancelled my order because of no stock, despite them still trying to sell it on the store. They didn't give me a refund despite me waiting the 10 working days to receive one. When I emailed about my refund they said I was wasting their time and that I should contact my bank which I have now done. Absolute waste of time don't use this company.

Does this company even exist ?

Does this company even exist ?? I've sent email after email and no reply. I understand there is delays with the 151 cards so I've asked for a refund but I'm not hopeful about getting a reply with all these bad reviews. I was daft enough to order more pokémon cards when they had a 50% off sale so hopefully they turn up as again I'm not hopeful.

Got a snotty response on Google reviews saying " leaving bad reviews won't get our attention"

Total scammers Aviod !!

Worrying thing is they are still allowing people to purchase the 151 cards from there website !! Even offering 50% off everything on the website !!

I wouldn’t even give them a 1

I wouldn’t even give them a 1! Like other customers I also ordered 151 packs. I waited for over 2 months listening to their constant excuses. I requested a refund as my patience ran thin and guess what? It’s been over 12 working days and still no sign of it. Laws are being broken here, and I have a feeling that it won’t be long until authorities are involved. I’m in discussion already with contacts in law so do the right thing Geek Peek!!!!

These guys are definitely money…

These guys are definitely money laundering.

I Ordered on 22nd May and the website stated that stock would arrive on 31st May. I then asked on live chat and this was also confirmed. Nothing ever came.

I was then told it would be dispatched on Monday 3rd June however again nothing came.

I reached out again was told that the “2nd batch had now arrived” and I would get a shipping notification that week but Nothing arrived.

Then received another email on 5th June saying that by the latest they would be shipped by Tuesday “next week” however no shipping notification.

I then asked for a refund and got a passive aggressive message and was told it was issued. However, no official refund confirmation from Shopify so not sure if it actually has been issued.

I waited a few weeks and the money never came so I had to go to Amex who refunded me.

Looks like pyramid scheme / money laundering as the stock was never there to begin with. No one ever got their orders. Batch 1 did not exist. He came onto TikTok as well no one received orders. Absolutely crazy they’re still on Shopify.

This can't be a legitimate business

I bought a Pokémon funko pop figure, I ordered it on 7th June, when it did not arrive promptly I made contact and was advised that it was due to high volumes of orders and that it would be posted out that Friday.

When the item didn't arrive for my brother's birthday I made contact again to ask for updates, I got tracking information for EVRI but they never received the item, it just showed as waiting for it for several weeks.

No one at geekpeek responded to any of my e-mails after saying it would be posted out in June so I contacted my bank and was refunded.

I went and bought the item from a real shop Smiths Toys Superstores.

Disappointing cancellation after 3 months waiting

I ordered product in May that still has not arrived. I have been kept well aware of the 151 production issues but have stuck through it and waited patiently for the 3 months now. I found the customer service team fine to deal with and would answer me if it was emailed during work hours.

Today my order was cancelled out of the blue 'because they have the right to cancel at any time'. Unfortunately this has been the last straw, I have been as patient as possible and was willing to continue waiting for something I didn't have confidence would arrive

I have often seen the company page buying items from tiktok shops, so clearly they aren't having money issues

Do Not Use Geek Peek - AVOID

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the level of customer service I have recently experienced with your company.
My concerns are as follows:
False Information: I was informed via email that my order had been shipped when, in fact, it had not. This misinformation caused unnecessary confusion and frustration.
Delayed Responses: Your team took an unreasonably long time to reply to my emails. Timely communication is essential in providing satisfactory customer service, and this delay has been very disappointing.
Overall Poor Service: The combination of being misled about my order status and the delayed communication has resulted in a very poor overall customer service experience.

Avoid at all costs

Came on here to write a review about my awful experience with this site, and it seems many have had the same issue.

I placed an order for a Pokemon 151 Bundle on 9th June (just over 2 weeks before my son's 8th birthday on the 24th).

I've been met with constant excuses (money has been refunded but the banks problem), rude emails (it seems they've even stopped sending them now).

So, as of writing (31st July, almost 2 months after placing order) I have still received no refund. I have no option now but to open a dispute with the bank and report them to trading standards.

Avoid this company at all costs, placed an order on the 6th June for some Pokémon 151 cards. Cards on back order and then a few weeks later told me they where dispatched and even got a tracking number. Cards never arrived and was told they ran out of stock. Instesting they would provide tracking details even though my order was never packed. After 2 more weeks of excuses was offered a refund on the 28th June plus a £10 Amazon gift card. It's now the 30 July and still no refund and they have stopped replying to my emails. Avoid this company at all cost.

Disappointed by the experience and not receiving items I had ordered

Editing my review to give an honest account of my experience with Geek Peek.

On the 26th June 2024 I placed two separate orders with Geek Peek. One order for 10 sealed Pokemon 151 Booster Bundles, which were at the time advertised at £25 per item. This was a preorder with an estimated delivery date of 1st August 2024.

My second order was for two Pokemon 151 Elite Trainer Boxes for £58.99 each. At the time of ordering, the website displayed a low on stock warning, but was still in stock nonetheless. The purchase confirmation e-mail stated a 3-5 day delivery period and to be delivered through Evri courier service.

By the 10th July 2024 I had still not received delivery of the second order I had placed for the Pokemon 151 Elite Trainer Boxes. I contacted Geek Peek through their tickets system and was informed of dealing with an overwhelming demand for the items and that they were awaiting another stock delivery, which would be sent out for delivery starting the week of 15th July 2024. I was also offered a £10 Amazon voucher for the inconvenience caused by the delays.

On the 23rd July 2024, I had still not received any items or a confirmation of shipping from Geek Peek and decided to leave a 1 star review about my disappointing experience with Geek Peek. A few hours after I had left a review, I received two e-mails from them to confirm that my orders have now been cancelled.

At no point did I contact Geek Peek requesting for my orders to be cancelled. To add to this, the cancellation e-mails have voided the costs of the items, but kept the charges for the postage on both items, when no items have even been sent out.

Today is the 24th July 2024 and I have reached out to Geek Peek regarding these cancellations and awaiting a response. My review will further be updated once the have replied to my queries.

Update - 24th July 2024 had a response to my e-mail enquiry regarding the cancellation. This time receiving a response from the CEO himself apologising that they were not able to meet my expectations but has not offered any solution to the issue other than just accept that they did not like my review so cancelled my order.

I went back to the CEO asking that a full refund including postage charges to be issued to me and allowing up to 14 days for them to do so as per consumer law. I did state that if the full refund is not issued to me, then I will pursue further action and claim for damages as if I were to try and purchase the same items from another company it would cost me considerably more. This was advise given to me by Citizens Advice.

I then received the following response:

I though this was rather unprofessional, but he must have taken the end of my e-mail a little harder than I thought. I, as a consumer, was only exercising my rights.

The cancellation e-mail also states the following "Order #2175GP was canceled at your request and your payment has not yet been refunded." I have not yet received any notice or confirmation of a refund, so I appreciate the CEO confirming that my refund has been issued, albeit with such an aggressive tone. As stated, I will wait the 14 days for my refund. I do hope I get the postage charges returned also, as I am entitled by consumer law. My next point of action will be to contact my CC company if I do not receive my refund, or refunded the I correct amount.

08/08/24 Just came back to say that no refund has been received and I have now filed a dispute with my CC company to have every penny refunded.

Would easily give a zero if possible

Would easily give a zero if possible . So the website does state now that 151 products had a massive delay but I ordered from them on 17/06/24 for an item that at the time and since during intervals said they were in stock the item said it was ready to be shipped on 19/06/24 . Evri had been expecting that parcel for over 9 days before I emailed to ask where the item were because evri hadn’t received it . Got a generic email back saying about how busy they were which fair enough . I waited a little longer and then contacted klarna as I wasn’t paying for an item I hadn’t received , klarna mailed them on the 1st of July only today have they replied saying that they’ve refunded the order because “their supplier has let them down” which is just plain wrong they shouldn’t have sold the product if they hadn’t had it in stock knowing full well it’s a hard product to get ahold of. Poor customer service in my opinion

Will not be placing any orders with Geek Peek again

Two months of polite enquiries with repeated promises that my order will in fact be delivered ended with cancellation due to ‘supplier issues’, despite my brother's order for the same item not being cancelled. I would advise people to avoid ordering from Geek Peek.

Update - Thought I would add to my review following the reply below. It is consistent with Geek Peek that they make you feel like you’re in some way being unfair when in fact you placed an order with them in good faith which they are repeatedly unable to deliver for many customers. Simple fact of the matter is there should have only been as many orders placed as items available. Poor at best

SCAM SCAM SCAM

I would avoid this company at all costs!
Full of excuses on why the stock hasn't been dispatched. They said they'd get a refund to me but it was nowhere to be seen. I had to go through the bank to report this company as fraud and the bank gave me a full refund while they investigated further.
As you can see from other reviews, this business is nothing but a big scam!

I have reported this business to trading standards.
They will probably reply, like other people's reviews, full of some dog s*it excuse and trying to point blame on the customer somehow but I have a friend further down in the country who has placed an order on the same website (different product to the Pokémon 151 I tried to order) and even though it is such a common product, guess what?!? Still no dispatch either. I advised them not to reach out and question the order and instead we're counting the days for updates and if nothing comes of it they'll be going to a small courts claim.

Laughable business, must be raking in people's hard earned money and giving nothing but empty promises in return.

UPDATE 18/07/2024: 28+ DAYS STILL NO REFUND / ORDER CANCELLED BUT NOT REFUNDED / TIME STAMP 00:08AM

UPDATE INFO 30/06: No apology and still No refund since 19th June 2024 nearly 10+ days later, Respectfully my disability has been effected because of the way I have been treated. My health is worsened due to stress & anxiety of not knowing whats happening with my full refund, my DISABILITY has been extremely effected by this whole process.

I always give great reviews and never bad ones. I suffer from multiple disabilities, I ordered on the 11 June 2024, no goods have arrived.

This is affecting my health and wellbeing, I have multiple disabilities and all I am asking for is a full refund which doesn’t take long to do.

Is this how you treat your disabled customers? I have multiple disabilities and very stressed and anxious my full refund has not been actioned, I have not had no issues with any other major well known companies.

This is the weirdest company and…

This is the weirdest company and transaction I’ve ever encountered. I felt a bit bad for Geek Peek over all this blow-up until now, but now that my order has been cancelled out of the blue (the email says I requested it but I did not) and there is finally admittance that they did not have the stock anyway, I’m just plain annoyed.

Ordered Pokemon 151, the offer was Evri next-day delivery, the product was in stock, at about 1,400 or so items available at the time according to the number on site. I wait a while, chase it up via email just to enquire, was told it would be dispatched soon. A few days later I get an email from Evri saying they’re expecting the item. Okay, great, but nothing arrived. Then it’s email after email just to find out what the hold up could be and I’d like to think I’ve been pretty understanding. I was offered £10 Amazon voucher as an apology with the order that never materialised. Then I was told dispatch would be the first week of July.

I don’t believe I’ve been in any way disrespectful or pushy, and have tried to be understanding, but today I received an email to say my order has been cancelled and to expect a refund. I didn’t request that, but okay, I guess? I didn’t ask for one. I’d prefer to have the items. But as long as I get my money back, I’m not that fussed.

It’s as a suspected, though. Reading between the lines, the company took a load of orders for a product they don’t actually have in stock and ran into massive trouble when people asked where their items were. Why, Geek Peek? That’s just a bit insane! I felt bad for the backlash they’d had for what seemed like a huge order and few hands to fulfil it, but if they never had the stock for us in the first place, it sounds more like it was self-inflicted.

Hopefully the refunds go smoothly, at least. Though I will say my extra star is for the patient people at the customer service help desk that I’ve encountered. They’ve been understanding and pleasant, and I don’t envy them having to deal with this.

I just wish the company had been truthful from the start about the stock. :(
