So we decided as a family we would open a Small Repair shop in Pallion in Sunderland back in January 2009 Geekys was born. We sharp out grown this space with the success of Geekys. From there we decided to move to Sunderland City Centre with over 3500 sq feet of space.  We then launched a sister company called Harrys game shack up stairs in Geekys but the space was quickly too small and we had to relocate it we now have over 90 spaces making use the largest and the best gaming venue in sunderland.  We have now just launched a second store in Newcastle Eldon Garden. with Harrys game shack in side.    Geekys has now started to trade online to bring them great deals all over the uk.  Our family just keeps getting bigger and with lots more stuff to come in the future for Geekys and Harrys game shack.

Not to be trusted. Took a works laptop in and they removed the password and stripped the machine clean, everything gone. they installed Windows 11 pro and Microsoft Office package which didnt work, neither did the Microsoft Office package. They claimed it was corrupt, corrupt from a PDF download which it wasnt. Then they want another £50 for putting right from their cowboy mistakes. They have somebody coming on the phone tyrying to convince you its your fault !. Utter rip off, dont use, go elsewhere.

Poor Service, Faulty Replacement, and No Resolution

I purchased a PlayStation and controller from Geekys.co.uk a little over a year ago. Within six months, the controller developed faults and was sent back for repair under warranty. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred again shortly after the initial repair.

Rather than properly repairing or replacing the controller, Geekys sent a visibly used and damaged unit — with misaligned casing, a faded serial sticker, and clear signs of water damage. I contacted them immediately and asked for a replacement and a pre-paid return label.

It took 17 days and multiple follow-ups just to get the return label — which then failed at the Post Office due to an invalid barcode. It was delivered and signed for over 11 days ago, yet I’ve received no replacement, no communication, and no updates since — despite multiple follow-up emails and proof of delivery.

This ongoing issue has left my 9-year-old son without a working controller and me with no support or resolution. I cannot recommend Geekys based on my experience. They’ve failed to honour their warranty, offered poor communication, and sent out substandard products. Buyers beware.

Sent to wrong address

Item was delivered to the billing address and not the shipping address, caused further delay in getting the item home. Still now I've got it, it seems to work well (if maybe slow at charging).

I can’t recommend Geekys enough

I can’t recommend Geekys enough
They repaired my iPhone 14 Pro that had extensive damage to both the camera and the rear screen after a sports accident, they made it look like brand new when I thought it looked beyond repair.
The people are so polite and friendly and the cost of repair was very reasonable in my opinion.
Thank you Geekys.

AVOID!!!

This company are highly immoral. They advertised a PS5 slim on ebay which I won the auction for. They then contacted me to say it was a mistake, and was an older PS5 (non slim model) and would I be prepared to accept it. This is clearly because they did not get the bid they were hoping for as funnily enough they relisted the slim the next day and worse still took ages to refund the money. Read their feedback on here and ebay, they have form with doing this - Avoid at all costs

The Worse Customer Service I’ve ever had

Please know this is not a reflection on the repair team, my experience with them was excellent.

I unfortunately made the mistake of ordering a laptop through this companies website, I called a few days later to enquire if I could pick up to find out my order has been cancelled due to a stocking error. I wasn’t contacted, they claim that they did, and when I said it wasn’t and it wasn’t in my spam either I was met with a dismissive energy and made me feel like the problem chasing up, a common theme in my experience with this person. When I raised a complaint I was met with excuses and attitude from someone who I later found out to be the area manager. There was barely an apology for their mistake, no promise of we will investigate what will happen which a normal standard of customer service would do but instead I was met with a stonewall response. The non empathetic response obviously upset me and caused anger, knowing that what I am receiving was sub par and even below the bare minimum service especially from someone so senior in the company. I still have barely received an apology but instead excuses and arrogance. I recommend those reading this and thinking of buying from here please take their business elsewhere, I have wasted my time and energy fighting for a basic level of customer service from this company and still haven’t received that. I am disappointed as I wanted to give this shop a chance after the incredible help I got from the repair team when fixing my old laptop, instead now I am not only incredibly inconvenienced but just frustrated. I hope this company re-evaluates and takes my concerns seriously, however I feel like they won’t

Bad customer service

Was told my order flagged up as high risk or something and was asked for picture of ID before they could ship my order, sent picture of ID and since then I’ve had no reply, no tracking information and I’m £1800 out of pocket because Geekys don’t actually ship the order like they claim they have
