My son has had his perm done with Racheal twice now and she was amazing both times the salon has such a friendly vibe and everyone made us feel welcome I have booked in for febuary and can’t wait to feel pampered xx

I was seen straight away even though i was 10 minutes late, i was offered refreshments. My hair was very well washed we discussed the style and the loctician was knowledgeable. The hair was completed quicker than other locticians i have used in the past and at a very reasonable price. I have a lot of hair, thick and long. Other locticians use my hair as a reason to charge at lot more than Gemini, whose prices appear to be reasonable. The shop was clean and the staff was very friendly. I would go back again.

First impressions were positive, but few minutes later the illusion shattered...
 Hair‑covered brushes from previous clients and tools scattered on the floor – pure chaos.
Staff are polite but clueless.
The "hairdresser" washed only my roots, scratching my scalp with her long nails.

Then she asked what I wanted – I told her and even showed her – but instead of an actual haircut, she snipped a bit here and there, then blow‑dried my hair, burning my scalp three times while rambling distracted.

Result: layers only on the right side; the left is a full inch shorter. Zero attention to detail.

She then said she would "style" me – that’s when I’d had enough. I told her I wasn’t happy, she said she wouldn’t charge me, but was I really supposed to walk out like that? She also apologised – but the apology just isn’t enough to cover what I went through today.

I’ve never encountered a hairdresser like that. It was easy to see she didn’t have experience – but she had the confidence as if she did. Honestly, I have no training myself, but I’ve cut my own hair much better.

I asked if another stylist in the salon can fix my hair. Unfortunately, I walked out with the same problem: layers only on the right, and visibly uneven hair. At least looks much better.

Bottom line: if you value your hair and your time, give Gemini a miss.
