Disappointing Experience – Lack of Transparency and Slow Support

My experience with this service has been extremely disappointing due to a lack of upfront transparency and inadequate customer support. For example, I was not informed in advance that my website would be hosted on a subdomain (e.g., yoursite.jobbersites.com) rather than on a unique domain. This setup appears unprofessional and limits branding flexibility.

When I attempted to point the site to my own domain, I received only a basic instruction sheet with no hands-on assistance. If any technical issues arise, resolution can take weeks, and support responses are often vague—typically along the lines of “we’re looking into it” rather than clearly identifying the issue or outlining what is being done to resolve it.

Attempts to escalate concerns are generally ignored, and their support operates only during standard weekday hours with no weekend availability. Additionally, being based in Canada, they observe both Canadian and U.S. holidays, further reducing accessibility.

In short, the lack of proactive communication, limited support hours, and hands-off approach to setup and troubleshooting have made this a very frustrating experience.

CLIENT INFO DELETED AND LOST

Recently started a trial with Jobber, the system seemed fairly straight forward to use... at first...

PLEASE NOTE: It does not automatically sync up with Xero i.e. client list, existing quotes and jobs are not auto imported which isn't great as it does not give a clear picture of existing quotes sent, existing jobs and outstanding invoices.

EXPORT / IMPORT MAJOR ISSUE - You have to manually export your client list from Xero to Jobber, the fields used in Xero are different to the ones in Jobber.
I exported our list from Xero and tried to Jobber, it didn't upload quite right as the fields did not match up correctly.

I went back into Xero and saw that Jobber had automatically started REMOVING and amending existing client info as the imported list wasn't correct!
Addresses were deleted and emails put in the wrong place - I have no way of reverting this or retrieving the information back!
-> I have referred this to Jobber who advised it was something to take up with Xero. I then referred this to Xero who said this was something I had to take up with Jobber!! - Seems both parties know there are issues but don't wish to deal with the aftermath!!

I have been told by Xero the only way of getting our client list back to normal is by individually updating each client which is ridiculous, having thousands of clients. The other option is to import the previously exported list back into Xero but again this is extremely time consuming as Xero will only allow you import x1000 at a time, not the entire list.

If you want to delete client list in Jobber you have to do this manually and it says you can select ALL but it will only delete about x50 at a time, with thousands of clients this is extremely time consuming.

So, if you're not tech savvy and don't want to be passed round the houses when asked for support I would avoid using this system, this has created an absolute nightmare for us with little solution - NOT IMPRESSED!

Great comprehensive project management platform

I've used several project management platforms and none are as robust, user-friendly, cost-effective, and has attentive customer service as Jobber. Anytime I need anything, the help button is my friend! Customer service offers practical solutions and they are gentle if the problem turns out to be "user error". :)

Jobber's platform is laid out easily allowing our team to be efficient and feel secure. I really like the advanced quote feature as it sets us apart from the competition and shows off our work and products. I like the reports so I can really hone in on leads/quotes and forecast job schedules. When I see something I wish worked differently, I recommend it through the help button. Some things have changed via the recent updates and I look forward to more additions. I look forward to a few more changes in communication that will help with commercial clients.

I find Jobber to be an excellent tool for our small business and share my experiences often with others. With it's economical cost in check, it's a great fit overall.

Can't ever reach anyone. Poor follow-up.

Hard to get our customer success tech to email back. I tried to call-in and met with a message that all agents are gone for the day (its 10am). Likely going to lose jobs because of the issues. Somewhat misled on the capabilities. Not really impressed honestly.

Beware: Buggy w/ Poor Customer Service

In the last few months they have gone from a solid 4 star rating (good, but with occasional downtime or limitations/bugs), to 2 stars at best. We have been unable to reliably pull up invoices and payments for several weeks since they started rolling out updates (data will not load on desktop PCs). Additionally, many small changes have resulted in an overall worse user experience that seems optimized for smart phones and not desktop PCs. The new client page is awful and requires lots of scrolling up and down to enter/view client info. I cannot in good faith recommend Jobber to anyone which is unfortunate because for the last 7 years we were mostly happy with this program and had given them lots of positive word-of-mouth.

crooked company that likes stealing small buisness owners money.

the company has wittingly structured a safety met to prevent you from canceling your subscription. if you loose your login credentials, the reset function doesn't work and they will not cancel the subscription unless you are able to sign back into the account. call it department and they send you dead links that don't work for the reset. then when you call back in they simply say sorry we can't cancel, you need to gain access to the account would you like us to send you another reset link that doesn't work. they have withdrawn over a thousand dollars from my account all while being told not too! find a different software company to use. DO NOT USE JOBBER!

Company had gone downhill

I used jobber years ago and had an excellent experience. My business outgrew the app though so I did have to go somewhere else, I started a different business model that I thought jobber could work with. Unfortunately it does not work my business. As I was a former user I was not offered a free trial, and because I had 3 free months from a referal I had given I didn't mind paying for the year in advance and when asked about the discount they add 3 months to the term thats what they consider 3 free months. When I did my on boarding meeting with jobber right quickly realized the app was not functional for this business either, and attempted to cancel. They refused to refund the 1700.00 I paid for the app which I have no use for. They did not tell me if I paid in advance that it could not be refunded, when I was signing up. This information was only revealed when I went to cancel. After years of supporting and promoting jobber I will never use or recommend them again as they don't care about the customers experience just about the money. This company has gone downhill over the years. There's better cheaper software out there don't waste your time on jobber.

This software has been the worst…

This software has been the worst application and panel I have ever used. Having worked with multiple cleaning service companies, I have experience using various scheduling and management platforms, but this one is by far the most problematic.

One of the biggest issues is with job management. When attempting to delete a single job, the system sometimes removes all jobs together, causing major disruptions. This flaw makes it incredibly frustrating and unreliable for day-to-day operations.

Another major issue is syncing with Google Calendar. Instead of displaying individual bookings correctly, it lumps all jobs into a single "master booking," making it difficult to track specific appointments. This defeats the purpose of syncing in the first place, as it creates confusion rather than organization.

Additionally, updating customer addresses is a nightmare. When modifying an address, the main panel still displays the old one, even though the correct address appears inside the job details. This inconsistency can lead to serious mistakes, such as sending cleaning teams to the wrong location, which results in wasted time and unhappy customers.

Payment processing is another area where this software falls short. For a service that charges $343 per month, you would expect a seamless and efficient system, but instead, it is filled with glitches and errors. Many other companies offer better functionality at a much lower cost. For example, Launch27 provides a far superior experience for around $1,500 per year—significantly less than this software while delivering a much better user experience.

Overall, the combination of technical issues, lack of proper synchronization, address inconsistencies, and an overpriced subscription makes this software one of the worst I have encountered. Businesses relying on an efficient and error-free system should look elsewhere, as there are far better options available at a lower cost.

Life changing Program

Life changing system for my small business. Honestly, I wish I started with them sooner as Jobber has Madde my life so much easier. The cost reduction on administration outweighs the cost of the program x10 and the consistent innovation is ever improving the program. I highly recommend!

Jobber is great if you are looking for…

Jobber is great if you are looking for a system that allows you to schedule, invoice, and keep track of your daily tasks and customer. They continue to innovate and bring updates to their platform. My only gripe is small creature comforts seem to get overlooked for too long. I would like to see more intuitive online booking settings, to allow customers to schedule to their needs without comprising our schedule.

Jobber makes you bigger than you are

We have used jobber for over 1 year for our Handyman business. We initially chose jobber for: growth capacity, reporting, and ease of use. We have stayed with jobber for all of that, plus the continued innovation. From our experience, Jobber continues to adapt and add features that make them an "all in one" platform. They truly make our small team of 5 feel like a team of 10.

A For Effort

Giving a 4* review since they are clearly actively improving their platform all the time, seems like every week there's a new update in their labs. But to be honest, the platform can be unwieldy and not exactly intuitive. Turn a request into a quote into a job into an invoice, and at every step of that needlessly clunky process you can possibly lose a detail or have something come out funny. Simple systems have less chance for human error to occur, my idea would be to turn the whole thing into just one 'ticket'. Instead of having three different quote number job number invoice number, confusing the matter. ALSO, pretty constantly having to manually edit quickbooks after jobber syncs to it, which has an error almost every time an invoice is created or any invoice/payment is edited.

Changed my business, changed my life!! When I switched to Jobber, my office staff was able to operate more efficiently and with one less person. Saved money, made life easy!! The only wants that I have, is the ability to call from my phone number and dear lord can you let us send pictures PLEASE??

Very Satisfied... Worth sticking with it!

We've been using Jobber for over three years now, and it's helped keep everything organized and in one place for myself as the company owner and administrator, but also as the employee and the customer. I've had customers compliment me on the level of professionalism it brings to the client communication, as well as estimating and invoicing. It definitely is worth every penny! If you are considering starting with Jobber and are concerned about negative reviews, take the time to learn the entire software, not just the app, and see how much it can streamline the customer and job process. Thanks Jobber!
